Extra's: For me, the best extra was the series of solo scenes with the gals of the movie. All of them were far too short to thoroughly enjoy (between 2 and 3 minutes each) but they did provide that little something extra I appreciate in an extras package. There was also a Behind the Scenes feature lasting a bit over 4 minutes long but it was almost solely of Lauren and Lee with a tough of Poppy's scene to close. There were also some trailers, a photogallery and a pop shot compilation but none of those was particularly interesting to me.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that most porn is shot in. The fleshtones were accurate and the other colors well balanced due to decent lighting and only some minor grain appeared in the movie. I did note some pixelation at a few points in the movie but it was rarely a major problem and the limited nature of the camera angles kept them from getting in the way this time too. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo PCM (pulse code modulated) rather than the better Dolby Digital. While most of the moaning could be heard just fine, the audio had a lack of dynamic range and no separation to speak of. For the most part, the audio and video were okay to decent and not a negative factor of the show.

Body of Review: DVSX's premiere director, Bryan Xin, has long seemed to hold the philosophy that a solid movie is formed on the basis of three parts; the technical attributes, the women, and a formula where the cast follows the premise of the show like clockwork. This doesn't always work but I can't fault his approach since so many fans seem to enjoy it. In his latest release, A.N.A.L. 3: Bum Rush (AKA: Ass Now, Ass Later 3), he had six scenes where the gals all masturbated after some tease and then had anal sex after giving oral, with no vaginal penetration to speak of. While I've long enjoyed vaginal over anal sex, a lot of fans have become jaded and skipping the pussy seems as natural to them as the various forms of circus act sex they'll never be able to get without being on the receiving end at a gay bar. Scene One: Lauren, easily the most well known gal of the movie, started off the show by giving some of her famous teasing; initially by stripping and wiggling around and then by sticking a large glass dildo up her lovely ass. The massive Lee joined her, fingering her ass as she gave him a sloppy blowjob (gagging it all down). After getting him hard, she took it straight in the butt as he pounded her into the following week, truly a sight to behold. After several positions, he jerked off his load into her mouth and onto her face in this very energetic scene. It was no wonder she was featured on the front cover with an act like this one.

Scene Two: Poppy, a cute little brunette with a lean and all natural body (looking much like Violet Blue in her youth on the left side of the front DVD cover), was up next as she followed the formula and masturbated her ass and pussy on a couch. Her scene was with Karl, a guy that I haven't seen much of lately. He went down on her, rimming her to get her ready for the action, before she gave him a little bit of head. The two went right to the anal here as well and while she's no anal queen like Lauren, she managed to keep up with him for the most part. It ended when he painted her face but she kept her eyes closed as though she were afraid of his splooge.

Scene Three: Cory, a lean brunette with a reddish tint to her hair, was up next and she looked like she weighed about 90 pounds soaking wet. After giving some tease footage, she masturbated with an anal plug to prepare for her sexual encounter with Thomas and Bruno. She gave them some oral loving before they took turns plugging her ass with their cocks, eventually gaping like crazy for the camera. Her scene seemed somewhat generic most of the time and the guys never gave her a DAP (double anal penetration) as some of you would've liked but she did do an anal cream pie. The chemistry was missing and the energy came mostly from the guys this time.

Scene Four: Vanessa, a lean brunette with a blemished ass and slightly harsh face continued the action on another couch. She used a vibrator on her ass but this scene also seemed somewhat mechanical in nature as she took care of Ricardo for the camera. It also seemed slower and as if she was barely holding in her disgust with what she was being paid to do. I'm sure she has talent but most of it was left as potential here and that killed the heat for me. She took the facial like a professional sex worker looking to finish up and move onto the next customer; something I've never found all that appealing in porn.

Scene Five: Lucy, a very pretty blonde with a slightly distant look to her, could've been my favorite of the show for her pretty eyes and fishnet stockings combined with her all natural physique but she never really looked like anyone was at home upstairs. She barely used her dildo to spread herself open and left George to do most of the work in the scene. Her oral wasn't bad but she really seemed out of it and that threw me off more than I cared for as I watched this one. After the oral, she took the anal okay but hardly moved an inch as he hammered away at her. The gasps for air weren't all that meaningful because of it and while she may be the next big thing (if she learns to perform better in front of the camera); her work here was not impressive. At least she ended with by jerking him off onto her face but it was a little too little, a little too late for me to enjoy.

Scene Six: Nikki, another all natural gal with blonde hair, was next up as she teased and masturbated for the camera. She was in the middle of the front DVD cover and had a very appealing look for me as she used a toy on her body, finally using it to open her ass a bit. Her partners were Ricardo and Thomas(the older guy from scene three) and the scene was pretty good as she sucked and fucked anally for the camera. At times, she almost looked like Ginger Lynn Allen when far younger but the bottom line is that she seemed to enjoy the action at least a little; saving the movie from the scrapheap for me. She could've been more sexually aggressive for my tastes but at least she kept up with her partners and the scene ended with them popping off on her face and in her mouth.

Summary: A.N.A.L. 3 wasn't a bad movie but only a couple of scenes were truly worth watching more than once. The women tended to be more attractive than average and the technical matters generally well handled but the lack of heat in too many scenes left me rating this one as a Rent It. I hope to see more of Bryan's work in the future where he truly shines and his directorial prowess is evident but this was not his best work (from what I've been told) and that leads me to think I'll really appreciate it when I get my hands on something he polished up as best he could. In short; check this one out before buying unless you are a slavering fanboy of the entire cast.
