Audio/Video Quality: Perryvision 2 was presented in the same 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen it was shot in by director David Perry for Evil Angel. The movie was shot in point of view (POV) camera angle, the director adding his own tweaks to the popular format (hence the title), much like Mike Adriano does in his own movies (not always strictly sticking with true POV). The resulting technical aspects were decent enough, at least as long as you are not looking for that type of thing, but the lighting and editing were handled properly with the composition and flesh tones better than a number of David’s older works for another company. The aural experience was pretty basic here, apparently using the microphone built into the camera from the sounds of it, but suitable for a gonzo sex production even if not taking full advantage of the audio (which few in the industry have yet to try anyway).

Body of Review: David Perry has been making porn as a performer for years now, the man considered one of the biggest “names” in foreign porn years ago. He directs now for Evil Angel, my fellow reviewers always having scoped up his works until now, Perryvision 2being the first I’ve seen in some time. The emphasis of the show was to use point of view camera angles highlighting the domestic cast, my favorites being Brooklyn Lee, Kristina Rose, and (of course) Phoenix Marie, though Tila Flame and Haley Sweet will likely appeal to many of you too. David was the meat puppet in each scene and while he might not merit the kind of praise his countryman Manuel Ferrara gets, he has proven over the course of time that he is not just a fourth tier mope when it comes to rough, gonzo sex.
