Audio/Video Quality: High Heels and Glasses 3 was presented in a clear, 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Alex Romero for Combat Zone. The lighting was plentiful and that reduced the usual problems associated with low level lighting, the camera angles fairly typical but the camera movement less fluid than I generally like. The editing was basic and there was no continuous company watermark, the mixture of close up shots and medium shots okay as well. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital but only the first scene used much of an aural angle to it, the other scenes shot inside without a bunch of talking. There were some ambient noises (like a dog barking in the background on the first scene) but nothing major and the music was not a factor here.

Body of Review: Alex Romero is a director of foreign porn shot primarily for Combat Zone. I have seen a few of his titles in recent years but hardly qualify as an expert on his works, his latest title coming in for review called High Heels and Glasses 3. First off, it should be noted that for all my admiration on the porn resume of the company principals, my personal preference is for domestic performers. In this movie, only the first scene really had much interest for me, and then for the presence of Brooklyn Lee (Starlet of the Year) though Nikky Thorne and the other ladies were certainly fuckable. The general theme this time was to showcase ladies wearing glasses and high heels and they did but little attempt was made in most cases to sell the theme in any major way so your mileage will definitely vary. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Brooklyn Lee, the AVN Starlet of the Year hotty, was up first in a pseudo prison guard outfit (it said “sexy cop” on the arm patch) as she lounged outside a house where an annoying dog was barking. Summary: High Heels and Glasses 3 by director Alex Romero for Combat Zone had some pretty decent technical values and the first scene starring hotty Brooklyn Lee was a winner. The other three scenes were not nearly as interesting despite the ladies providing full service, if mechanically inspired, performances so few of them lived up to their potential. As such, that resulted in the rating coming in with a still respectable Rent It. In short then, High Heels and Glasses 3 was truthfully advertised as having ladies wearing the requisite costuming mentioned in the title but in terms of chemistry, replay value, and strokability, it was hardly the best the company has to offer so check it out before adding it to your collection unless you are a completists for the one or more of the cast members.
