The Movie:

Sam No directs this fourth entry in the Battle Of The Asses series from Elegant Angel, a studio that’s been doing some great work lately from the cover art of their DVD releases to their selection of talent to the production values and locations used in their features. This entry in their ever expanding catalogue continues that trend, and obviously caters to the ass aficionado. The disc is made up of five scenes, it’s a fairly standard all sex release so there are no plot points of themes or characters to discuss so let’s get straight down to what you’re reading this review for in the first place, shall we?

Katja Kassin And Michael Stefano: Sexy, curvy blonde Katja has long been a staple of ass fetish videos for a few years now and when you get a look at her from behind, you’ll know why. Battle Of The Asses 4 is a shot on digital video production which looks pretty clean presented here in a very strong and stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There is some mild shimmer in a couple of spots but no noticeable mpeg compression evident anywhere. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (the camera work is very good here), and overall the movie looks great showing very nice detail and color – definitely quite a few notches above your average gonzo/all sex release in terms of production values, lighting, camera angles and cinematography.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue, of which there is generally only a little bit during the sex scenes and none in the intros, comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The background music is fine, levels are nicely balanced, everything sounds clean and clear and all in all the disc sounds very good.

Extras:

Extras are slim but there is a Bonus Scene here with Gracie Glam and Manuel Ferrera that originally appeared on Battle Of The Asses 2. If you’ve been collecting the series then this isn’t really much of a bonus at all but taken on its own merits, it’s a good scene. It follows the same format as the scenes on the feature, it starts off with a tease and then a tease before the man gets to do his thing to her. Manuel jumps in, tongue in her bung, and they go at it for a good long while after that until she gets to take him in her throat. It’s a solid scene, and Gracie is always fun to watch – very hot stuff. Aside from that, there’s a short and fairly superficial behind the scenes featurette here that doesn’t offer much of substance but which does provide some nice footage of the girls. Also look for a cum shot recap, trailers for a few releases, a still gallery, menus and scene selection.

Battle Of The Asses 4 is a solid release for any ass fan. The sex is hard and hot and well shot and while the formulaic nature of the disc (and in fact the series) might not win any points for originality, the production values are strong and the on-camera talent top notch. Sexy and well made, Battle Of The Asses 4 comes highly recommended.
