Audio/Video Quality: Hustler’s All New Beaver Hunt 4 was presented in the expected 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by Axel Braun for Hustler Video. The camerawork was basic and the editing rushed, the lighting typically pretty good, and the scenarios very limited. As there was no credited director on the cover for any part of the project, it speaks volumes as to what I expected going into the show but I wanted to keep an open mind. Within a few minutes of each scene though, I knew that this was going to be ultra low budget smut where all the usual corners were cut, various visual defects appearing on a regular basis. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 224 Kbps bitrate, some music mixed in at times and lots of ambient noises available, the vocals generally clear enough to hear if you pay close attention (but that was all).

Body of Review: Hustler Video has provided stroke fodder for spank banks over the years, continuing the traditions set forth by the print magazine that has been around since the 1970’s. One of the most interesting things about the magazine was the section where regular folks could submit pictures of themselves for publication, some winning a few bucks while all earned the notoriety. The better looking of the bunch was almost always strippers or professionals but the idea was these were people you might actually run into someday. Fast forward to modern day porn with Hustler’s All New Beaver Hunt 4, the title suggesting the ladies were be brand new to porn, the advertised statement “We find 'em on the streets of America just for you!” certainly in keeping with the original premise. Sadly, the ladies were mostly well seasoned veterans of the business, most of them making porn for years. I picked up a copy primarily because I wanted to see Brooklyn Lee and Aubrey Addams but as with any production where no director is credited on the cover or in the advertising, buyer beware. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Nadia Noir, the fetching young lady featured on the front cover, was up first as Bill Bailey drove along to pick her up. His partner in crime (Alex) coaxed him into approaching her, the guy calling her over as she walked along the sidewalk in her loose top and blue jean skirt. They gave her a lift to Bill’s place and made her comfortable on the tan couch, offering her a bottled water before she started kissing him. He felt her up and soon convinced her to lift off her shirt, her tiny, all natural boobs and perky ass looking great. She handled his pecker lightly and then slobbed his knob, the blowjob leading to her shaven snatch gliding down on him passively, some taste testing between positions ending in a modest wad of population pudding beaten off to her mouth by his hand.

They ended up in a trashy looking home garage, a quick kiss leading to his extremely brief head to her while she provided a lengthier effort on his pecker. The dialogue was really forced this time, the gal wanting to be let out while Billy pointed out that she didn’t have a choice as he locked the door. As creepy as that sounds, she was soon slobbing his knob aggressively in the plain house, kneeling before him as she inhaled his pecker with relative ease. She kept eye contact and that helped it a bit on technical merits, Billy reciprocating briefly with oral before they vaginally banged. Her ass looked as great as ever and even though they did not live up to the potential of the series, it had some minor strokability if not replay value. It ended after a few repeats of her blowing and riding him, much of the splooge flying away from her face.

Scene Five: Tristan Kennedy, an attractive blond wearing heels with her red skirt and white top, was up last as she took a free ride from Johnny Castle (and cameraman). She was falling out of her top in a delightful manner, the plain room they walked into looking like it was on the wrong side of the tracks. Summary: Hustler’s All New Beaver Hunt 4 by Hustler Video was largely the kind of generic porn you see on sale dirt cheap all over the place, the biggest difference being that some of the cast have made scores of titles and the resulting acting was so limited that I wondered why they bothered. None of the ladies was “new” other than lovely cover cutie Nadia Noir, and the scenarios were so lame that I tested a friend to see if he thought any of the setups were believable. In each case, he said they looked “fake as shit”, the guys doing this kind of thing at the big internet porn companies doing it so much better (though hardly believable either). The basics were covered by the ladies in terms of oral and vaginal sex so while I wouldn’t kick any of the ladies out of bed in real life, their work here just came across as weak or watered down to the point where I had to rate the production as a Skip It. In short, Hustler’s All New Beaver Hunt 4 took a promising concept and cashed in on it to the degree that this fan of the magazine back in the 70’s and 80’s shook his head. I admit to expecting more from Hustler than some of the smaller companies out there, having seen plenty of strokable and replayable smut coming from them, but there were no saving graces this time given each of the performers I’ve seen has provided much, much better of late, as has director Axel Braun. I admit to wondering just how much of a role he played in the show but frankly, he does so much better elsewhere that I feel obligated to not hold this one against him at awards time.
