Extras: The extras were kind of light this time but the 6:08 minute long Behind the Scenes feature wasn't bad at all. It began with Brooke getting her makeup done (and telling them that this was her last scene with a guy) and then showing clips from her scene with the director. Audio/Video Quality: What Gets You Off 4 was presented in a solid 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Danny Case for Third Degree using the usual MPEG-2 codec favored for standard definition releases offered up in 480i resolution. The settings were bare bone basic which allowed for fair lighting that minimized the grain, video noise, and aliasing of the visual elements. The down side was that there was a need for more lighting and a steadier camera. The composition of the shots was generally favorable to the ladies for the most part but the almost random editing seemed to distract at times when the camera would zoom in on some blemish or other visually weak moment and be left in the final product. The video bitrate varied considerably but seemed to hover around the mid 4.1 Mbps mark, few compression artifacts observed and the overall impression given to be favorable despite some grain and soft focus issues at times. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 192 Kbps standard under a 48 kHz sampling rate, the vocals showing no separation but the minimalist opening music giving the slight impression that it did matter to someone to add in some head space. The dynamic range was otherwise kind of limited but this being gonzo porn, I really did not expect a whole lot in that regard.

Body of Review: Danny "Pat Myne" Case has been directing in the porn industry for years now at various companies, now focusing his efforts at Third Degree Films having left Metro last year. Danny likes tease and fetish attire as much as I do so I always looked forward to seeing who would be in his fuck flicks in the past, some of them a lot better than others. Now that he is devoting his attention to a single company, they had to revive an older series to keep the man busy, resulting in What Gets You Off 4. The movie did not narrowly define the premise at all this time so it included two solo scenes (by hotties Sunny Lane and Julia Ann) as well as four standardized bouts of boning with some serious firepower in terms of casting. Scene One: Teagan Presley, the major cutie featured on the front cover of the movie, was up first in a scene with James Deen. I liked most of the cast and as the last scene shot by Brooke Haven and one of the last of Teagan doing a man on camera the movie had some significance but I call them like I see them and even a buddy like Pat can't get a free walk. In short, What Gets You Off 4 was cool in how it had a variety of scene types but it fell short of the mark in other ways so while I think you should check it out, buyers might want to refrain from picking up a copy unless they find it really cheap.
