Extra's: The best extra for me was the 15 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It started off kind of weird with Penny whining about something but it got interesting as it followed her and Sarah from beginning to finish of their scene and ended with some footage of Monique, Isabella, Sammie and MacKenzie on the lawn by the pool. I would've liked seeing the rest of the cast get some screen time too but maybe later efforts will accommodate my wishes. There was also a photogallery and well done double sided DVD cover (that had pictures of the entire cast on both sides, clearly identifying them). Something a few of you may consider an extra, and I thought it was a well done idea, was the inclusion of a second version of each scene that allowed fans of toys to see that while fans that hate toys could skip them. An innovative idea that I hope will catch on, this made the replay value higher than it would've otherwise been.

Audio/Video Quality: Finger Licking Good was presented in the standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that it was shot in by cameraman Mike Quasar. I've watched Mike's releases for years now and this was a step up from his work at Zero Tolerance in several ways although it had the similar feel that he's known for. I think Samson (the director) gave him just enough instruction to get the best footage but also allowed Mike to run a bit freer than he has in a while so the results were pleasant as eye candy. The colors were accurate, the grain minimal, and the camera angles solid with decent lighting most of the time. It had some rough edges but overall, I'd have to say that fans of lesbian action will find it a step up from the blandness too many companies employ these days. The only real issue I had was with the amount of compression artifacts that showed up in some scenes. Perhaps compressing so much material on a DVD proved too tough to handle but most of the time, it wasn't an issue. The stereo English audio was kind of bland but that's something to be worked on in the future and all the gals could be heard fairly well (along with some background noise).

Body of Review: Lesbian porn seems to be enjoying something of a comeback these days as each company is trying to capture the market as best they can. Much like Digital Sin's Girl Crazy or Vivid's WTBA 16, even newer companies want a piece of the (hair) pie so it came as no surprise that first time director Samson chose this as his first genre to attack. The movie's name is Finger Licking Good and with the help of his pal Mike Quasar, Samson offered up a reason why he, a former manager (AKA: A Suit) and box cover designer, should be given a chance to direct. With some minor issues that can be fixed in later releases, I think he did a good job of assembling a cast and crew of talented professionals to give the consumer a heated fixing of finger licking good lesbian action. Heck, he even included a lot of footage without toys for those of us that prefer the couplings to go on without them so here's a brief look at the scenes that worked more often than not:

Scene One: Xara, a busty blonde wearing a red PVC dominatrix outfit, complete with whip, and Teanna, the curvy Asian gal most associated with her work for Baby Doll Pictures, who wore a similar outfit in black (though her fishnet stockings were better), were first up in this plethora of pussy lesbian show. Teanna took charge at first and spanked/flogged her charge as the two went down on one another on a couch in a living room. There was foot fetish action and lots of licking with rubbing and dirty talk going on that made me believe they were having fun. I also enjoyed the toy version of the scene, perhaps even more due to the contrast, giving me the best of both worlds.

Scene Two: Sarah, wearing a fishnet body stocking and thong to accentuate her flaming red hair, and Penny, a gal with a fishnet crop top and matching garter with stockings, went at one another by the pool outdoors on an overcast day. They seemed a little less playful in the primary version of the scene but had some fun of their own as they followed the formula. I thought the vibrator and strap on dildo action was hotter for them and they gave more energy in that scene so apparently, they agreed with me. If you like the waifish look, they'll appeal to you a whole lot more than average.

Scene Three: Sandra, a lean brunette with a seductive smile and all natural body, took blonde Brooke over to the couch to engage in their scene together. Their outfits were similar enough to deceive me into initially believing they were the same but the psychological effect was similar to tricking the eye into thinking a couple of twins were going at one another (yummy!). Their scene was more sensual in nature and they spent a lot more time caressing one another as they kissed and stroked their bodies before the camera; making it a really hot scene. The toy version was more energetic but something was lost in the translation since as much as I like toys, the action was better without them. Whew!

Scene Four: Brooke Haven, a curvy gal with a few extra (though pleasing) pounds on her lovely frame, wore a light purple lingerie get up that showed off her strong legs as the busty blonde Lexi, also dressed in lingerie although less attractive on her, started in on her on the bed. The gals appeared to be equally matched and a good mixture but the no toy scene was tamer than I wanted to see at that point. When I eventually saw the toy play version, I figured that they needed the extra stimulation to get off (even doing some anal play with the toys). This scene had the most toy play of all the scenes and even the stretch marks didn't bother me enough to care as they called for one another to go further. Yum!

Scene Five: Sammie, MacKenzie, Monique, and Isabella, the four blondes of the Apocalypse, were up next. They were proudly displayed on the front DVD cover, each wearing a bikini that enhanced their already attractive frames. MacKenzie and Sammie did one another while Isabella jumped on Monique but eventually, they all got together for the final orgy scene outdoors by the pool. It was the tamest of the scenes but the way the gals teased and pleased one another, I'm not sure if I cared about degrees of extremism. Needless to say, the toy play version, while not as long as it should have been, was well done with a lot of heat and energy too, even more than the primary version of the scene.

Summary: Finger Licking Good was a fun frolic into the wonderful world of lipstick lesbian porn. Some of the cast have never looked better, and others have never performed better (with men or women) so fans might want to take note that Third Degree seems to have found a talented director that actually has what I refer to as "the eye", much like Stagliano and others in the industry. IIRC, Samson worked as a still photographer too so it's easy to see that he paid attention to the composition of the shots, assisting the talented Quasarman through his own unique vision but it may take several more releases to know if the guy is a flash in the pan or not. I hope he proves the critics wrong and with the help he's getting from Mike, which may well be the case. The cast and amount of fuck for the buck was good enough to warrant a rating of Recommended and I hope a follow up release is as good (if not better).
