Extra's: For me, the best extra was the 13 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It focused on Dasha but also had a lot of footage on the other performers and director. There was also a bit of discussion with one of the talent agents (Mark S.) that I found interesting. The next best extra for me were the five bonus scenes from other Vivid releases, three of which starred Dasha. The other extras were standard Vivid fare; trailers, two photogalleries, a mini-biography of Dasha, positions room, and spam (I hate the forced advertisements at the beginning of the DVD).

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the typical 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in. There was some grain and the lighting indoors often resulted in video noise but it didn't look bad at all. The audio was presented in stereo English but there wasn't much separation between the channels and the dynamic range wasn't anything great. My biggest concern on the audio was the booming music, which was droning in almost all cases. As a side note, the DVD itself caused my home player major problems, and I had to watch this release on my home computer in order to review it.

Body of Review: Dasha was one of the more attractive Vivid contract stars I'd ever seen light up the small screen. Her Russian accent, combined with strikingly attractive face and body made her a favorite almost as much as the fact that she liked to do anal sex (unlike many of the other contract performers). She has retired from porn, at least for now, and Vivid has been releasing a number of her movies as the months have passed. The latest release is a series of vignettes called, Implode. The movie followed a formula where the gals would prance about a garden and then be joined by their partner who would have sex with them. If this sounds minimalistic, that's because it was. There was none of the silly David Stanley plots to scan through and none of the weaker footage that bores most fans. If you're a fan of Dasha, read the following breakdowns of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Dasha, the lovely blonde lead of the movie, wearing a lot (and I do mean a LOT) of pearls, had an outdoor scene with Mario on a lawn chair. They engaged in some minor stroking for foreplay and then she crawled over to him and started blowing him with her usual enthusiasm. He went down on her too after which the boning began. After a few positions of the straight sex, she jerked him off onto her ass cheek. It wasn't a bad scene but it also wasn't her best work to date either.

Scene Two: Brooke, a curvy cutie herself, had the next scene and it was also set in the outdoor garden on some furniture. Her partner was Julian, the tattooed former lover of porn legend Jill Kelly, and the two made out by rubbing and kissing before he snacked on her crotch. Admittedly, she had a lovely set of lips but her own oral skills seemed a lot more interesting to watch than his did. She lovingly teased the head of his penis as she guided his shaft down her throat, making me wish I were the one receiving the hummer. They then screwed and she met him thrust for thrust, showing me that there was more than met the eye with this hotty. It ended when he jerked off onto her implants.

Scene Three: Dasha, all dressed in black with a black wig on, pranced about the garden as though she were looking for action. She found it when she stumbled onto Dillion and the two promptly went inside to start the action. He seemed into the fetish aspects of the scene, especially when he sucked on her high heel, but the scene was still focused mainly on straight and oral sex. The two shared more chemistry and warmth than any of the other couplings, a testament to the fact that they are a real life couple. She finished him off with some oral after taking him deep inside her lovely ass. Yum!

Scene Four: Sophie, the curvy cutie forever associated with Private Pictures, did the standard walking around the outdoors garden in some cool lingerie. When she was through, she was joined by Kurt and Trent, who took her inside the house for some action. She slobbed their knobs and they took turns licking her crotch as well. They then boned her in several positions, eventually taking her ass in a DP (double penetration). It ended when they jerked off to her face and the scene was pretty solid.

Scene Five: Dasha, in a departure from the formula used here, stared into a house at night. She was peeping in on Trevor and soon joined him in a romantic tryst inside the confines of the expensive house. They engaged in some minor foreplay before he snacked on her crack and she eventually returned the favor. Her oral skills were substantially better than his and after they were both satisfied, the boning began. They screwed in several positions, as expected, and it was over before I knew it as she jerked him off to completion.

Summary: I like Dasha's performances a lot and this release had several of them. While I would've liked better extras and a DVD that actually played on my top of the line (once upon a time at least) DVD player, I think it was worth at least a rating of Rent It for those interested in seeing this hot blonde bombshell in action.
