Audio/Video Quality: Buttman’s Stretch Class 8 was presented in the improved 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director John Stagliano for Evil Angel in the MPEG-2 codec using 480 resolution. As noted previously, John has never displayed the overwhelming desire to show crystal clear visuals, preferring to focus his efforts on the kind of raw energy so few of his peers are as capable of providing. The levels of grain, video noise, and even pattern effects were okay this time and the action lost nothing due to the flaws on the technical side (the movie was still hot but the bitrate typically hovered around the 4.1 Mbps though it varied significantly at times), more attention paid to some of the lighting issues I’ve fussed about in the past. The composition of the camera angles showed some care put into them, making the ladies virtually always look their best, and this is the strength of John's directorial ability more than anything else (as a producer, he also tends to make fine selections of cast). The large amounts of tease and clothing play along with female masturbation efforts enhanced this one significantly, the nastiest the action got with John involving his hands or some face smothering. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio track (in 192 Kbps) was as basic as gonzo porn came be, with limited talking going on outside of John's own directions in the background. The cast could be heard moaning & groaning but this was definitely a limited selection based on audio quality.

Body of Review: John Stagliano is the director best known as “Buttman”, his career well known for how it popularized the gonzo format even before he branched off into forming Evil Angel. Over the years, his name has become associated with quality entertainment relating to tease, the gonzo shooting style, and a love of shapely female ass, many directors following in his footsteps building upon the basics that he established to the delight of fans all over the world. His latest title making it my way this week was Buttman’s Stretch Class 8, the series routinely delighting the ass lover in me by showcasing three hotties using toys, tight clothing, and a back to basics approach few others can get away with. The movie was a selection of three lengthy scenes dedicated to tease and anal play, the ladies given the freedom to enjoy themselves without male partners getting in the way. The amount of ass tease alone in the nearly three and a half hour flick was more than you will see in probably a dozen gonzo titles with variations of the terms used for ass so if you are in the market for a movie showcasing curvaceous young babes such as fleshy knockout Briella Bounce, rising starlet Franceska Jaimes, and newcomer Kara Price. As near perfect as the recent spinoff “Detention” volume of the series was (highlighting some of the best ladies to appear in follow up scenes), I always go into this series with the understanding that I’m going to fall in lust all over again thanks to John’s keen eye.

The company website described the lengthy, single disc movie like this: “When young ladies take private lessons at John "Buttman" Stagliano's California studio, they extend their flexible bodies, spread their orifices and learn to attract the interest of an ass fetishist. Of course, the bodacious cuties in "Buttman's Stretch Class 8" are all plenty interesting to begin with! While training his students in the art of posing - including the value of the wedgie and the camel toe, how to arch the lower back, and proper ass support - Buttman and his students explore the sensual limits of huge phallic toys, flesh-pinching clothespins and nipple clamps, large vibrators, speculums and all sorts of perverted apparatus that literally stretch their erotic frontiers. Though the solo action is hard, Buttman shoots his lessons at a leisurely pace that helps his performers discover a personal rhythm along the way to multiple orgasms. Scene One: Briella Bounce, the thick blond babe from Texas featured on the front cover, was up first to start things off with a bang. She had the prettiest eyes and one of the largest asses I think I have seen in the series to date, admittedly a bit of extra junk in the trunk by conventional standards but certainly the kind of young lady that would give any man a “happy ending” during a routine lap dance compared to the underweight 80 pound teens so common in porn. She followed the conventions of the series by changing clothing and stretching in ways that emphasized her rounded rump, her large hips a nice change of pace from the skinny gals so frequently favored by lesser companies or younger men that have yet to learn the pleasures of the flesh from a real woman. Her pretty face helped sell the package as well with John doing his usual sniff testing and assisting even before she deployed some assorted toys to stretch her limits physically as well as mentally. The anal action and clothespins were expected, the foot fetish bit a little infrequent but still present, and the level of fun factor appreciation she seemed to have for a man welcoming her as she is rather than fuss about what she wasn’t seemed to enhance her attitude nicely. Aside from the technical DP work, she did seem to get off at least a couple of times here, her juices freely flowing despite the lack of genetic juice of population pudding landing all over her, my hope being that she is used in more company flicks in the future.

Scene Two: Kara Price, a fetching newcomer recommended from director Jay Sin, was up next as the tall cutie impressed John. She used to practice ballet and her lean body seemed otherwise built for it, my initial concern being that she just might lack the kind of ass needed to make the series work best. Like John, I appreciate female beauty of all types rather than just a narrow definition so I was pleased that while she lacked the sheer size of Briella, she had an otherwise appealing ass (especially when it was bending over or engaged in some of the toy tricks deployed so commonly in the series). Kara continued to impress John when she told him he would need to pinch her nipples “really hard”, his voice seemingly elevating a degree in delight as he tested her resolve. This lightened the mood a bit but encouraged her to push even further in order to please the director, the first toys used at length being the nipple pulling device he likes and the weights attached to her labia. Some clothespins and glass dildos came next (my GF was so jealous at the selection displayed throughout the show, especially after John mentioned the company was now selling quality toys as a sideline), even a goofy toy frog stuffed in her expansive ass before she teased with the black gnome. Kara appeared to push her limits and get off too, perhaps less obviously but still worthy of lots of replay value to unleash your spunk.

Scene Three: Franceska Jaimes, a curvy brunette that has become a very welcome fixture in numerous Evil Angel releases of late, was up last but certainly not least. She initially wore a purple mesh dress and John mentioned she was recommended by none other than extreme king Nacho Vidal. Her cute accent was such that it resonated in my mind as I watched her strut her stuff, her lean figure not diminishing her curves in the slightest as she played out the hand she was dealt. The apparel changes and toy use was a given but her sex positive attitude was great, making me want to floss with her neon blue thong after she played with it up her snatch and ass crack. This scene appeared to give her extra time to play as well, her free flowing juices when John was zoomed in close on her clitoris a nice touch too. The clips and foot fetish were in ample evidence (not really my thing these days but John’s excitement over them fueled her fires considerably) but she was clearly the most active and capable anal performer of the day, the others still very welcome indeed but her capabilities standing out from the crowd.

Summary: Buttman’s Stretch Class 8 by director John Stagliano for Evil Angel was a single disc extravaganza full of tons of tease, lots of toy use, and the kind of freedom from the usual porn formulas that worked for me in terms of replay value and strokability. While once not the kind of show I preferred, there was a lot of freshness as expected from the director and his cast that might have lacked genetic juice but it was fun (and strokable) so I rated this as Highly Recommended for fans of the genre as well as those that adore shapely ladies. For fans of curvy Briella Bounce, sultry Franceska Jaimes, and newcomer Kara Price this should be considered another true “must have” production given how much footage each was allowed without the usual mopes ruining things (so there was no genetic juice or population pudding included), John’s devotion to ass and the female body shining through the entire time. In short, Buttman’s Stretch Class 8, employed a lot of what I call “fun factor” for ass lovers to appreciate, the three lovely ladies all giving a show worth saving for many repeated viewings thanks to their enjoyment of the tease and toys.
