Extra's: The best extra for me was the 19 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Brother Love. It had interviews with the cast, some extra sexual activity going on, and a lot of craziness that fans of the cast will appreciate. Some of you will prefer the overused bonus scene from China Syndrome between Lucy Lee, Chris Charming, and Mr. Pete. She's a moderately attractive Asian with decent sexual skills. I liked the scene although current reports suggest the actual DVD was worth buying even if this 22 minute long scene was only pretty good on its own (it had anal, DP, and a bunch of ATM for those who care). There were also some trailers, a fetish menu, a photogallery, a double sided DVD cover, and company information.

Audio/Video Quality: Girl Crazy #5 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected and originally shot by new director Xavier Mann (his style looked familiar though so it might just be another director's alias). The colors were decent, the lighting fairly solid, and the grain minimal but there were some areas where the action looked a bit washed out. There was also some grain at times, a few compression artifacts, and some pattern noise on the fishnets but the flaws were minor and the overall picture quality about average. The stereo English audio track was decent and I could easily hear the dirty talk most of the cast used. In terms of overall quality, the picture and sound was pretty good in most ways.

Body of Review: Having appreciated the female form for my entire adult life (and a good part of my childhood for that matter), I like to see gals getting it on with one another more than with a goofus guy who appears to have just stepped out of a halfway house. This is not the case with all porn studs but I think it's safe to say the comment refers to a majority of them at this time. If you've read my reviews of WTBA 16 and Big Toys No Boys, you'll know I'm no stranger to lesbian action in porn but as good as they were, there's a whole world of other series on the market that offer some heated action too. Today's review of Digital Sin's Girl Crazy #5, reminded me of how much I enjoyed watching Girl Crazy 4, and it had some solid pairings of its own to like too. If you like this kind of action, you're going to like seeing this DVD, albeit, not as much as the earlier volume. Here's a breakdown of the action by scene, noting that no condoms or men were present (except the men in the bonus scene with Lucy Lee):

Scene One: Keri Sable, an attractive blond contract star at Wicked Pictures now, was up first with lean hotty Eva Angelina (a brunette), in the first scene that started on the floor. Eva seemed to dominate Keri, jilling her off before tasting some rug and using a clear plastic vibrator on her. The action seemed a bit mechanical at times (if you watch closely, you'll see the gals look off camera once in a while as though being directed to do something specific) but I never got the impression that they were clock watchers or lipstick lesbians. Once Keri got off, Eva got some reciprocal action from her, including a large flesh colored dildo that looked about as big as my own cock (at least in my dreams). In all, it was a nice way to start the show as both of them are sexually talented and desirable. I was actually surprised that they weren't used on the front DVD cover considering the gals that were (in scene two) weren't nearly as much fun to watch.

Scene Two: Brianna Love, the cute blonde on the front DVD cover with the all natural body in her enticing outfit, and black performer Lori Alexia, also in a sweet little get up, were up next. If you are really into black gals, she'll appeal to you more than me (I like women of all color but not because of their color, if you catch my drift) but the action was mechanical throughout the scene and appeared scripted with the gals doing as they were told. I prefer spontaneous sex in my porn so this ruined it for me although I won't deny that both gals had bodies I'd give a workout too (not the "minute" that Lori mentioned in the BTS feature either). The sex included the same licking, sticking and toy use so if you're not particularly discriminating in terms of quality scenes, you'll probably find this about as average as you can get.

Scene Three: Janet Alfano, an all natural lean gal with blonde highlights, and hotty redhead Marlena, were up next in a living room scene after Marlena won a game of chess (if you saw the chessboard, you'd know why that was impossible though). Janet's very shapely ass and legs were her best features but Marlena had it all (what a cutie she was!) so I appreciated the action throughout the scene. The oral showed more energy than the first two scenes and the couple had some obvious chemistry with each taking turns at pleasing the other (orally, manually, or with toys). I thought the excessive lube was distracting but otherwise, it was a lot of fun to watch.

Scene Four: Katie Morgan, one of the sweetest gals in porn from my personal experience, and sexually aggressive Lucy Lee, were up next in a scene on a couch that had both wearing white fishnet body stockings to cover their implants and other curves. I preferred Katie's all natural days but as long as I have a face, she'll have a place to sit. The gals gave over the top performances that followed the general formula here of tongues and toys, making it a somewhat generic pairing in most ways but as a fan of Katie's (I liked Lucy's recent work in Shane's World too), the scene had a lot of replay value for me. Watching Lucy nearly fist Katie was kind of interesting (she left out the thumb to avoid legal problems) and Katie's lengthy hair (I love long hair) helped too.

Scene Five: Celeste Star, a gal that could be the daughter of porn star legend Lori Sanders (a personal, all time favorite of mine!), was up next with skinny Veronica Jett (looking better than she did in Kill Girl Kill by a wide margin) on a couch. The two appeared to enjoy the action a lot and while it was formulaic in terms of the licking, toys, rubbing and kissing, it still seemed to elevate itself above most of the scenes for me (not related solely to Celeste either). In a day and age when lipstick lesbian action rules for some people, I thought the scene had a lot of replay value. They were playful, showed chemistry and had enough energy for me to appreciate so maybe this scene will be the next bonus scene included on Digital Sin's releases (though hopefully not as often as the one this DVD had).

Summary: Girl Crazy #5 was worth a rating of Rent It to me but I came close to elevating it along the same lines as the last volume in the series due to a few really good scenes but the extras and the lack of chemistry on a couple of the scenes made me think it wasn't quite up to snuff so I took the only action I felt warranted. In all, if you like this kind of sexual activity, you'll enjoy watching these duos do the dirty deed but it wasn't the best lesbian porn you'll find on the market unless you're a slavering fanboy of some of the cast here. Digital Sin director Xavier Mann did a workmanlike job here but it lacked enough spark to make it a top pick of mine so your mileage may vary.
