Audio/Video Quality: Big Ass Roundup was shot in the usual anamorphic widescreen 1.78:1 ratio offering as presented by director John Leslie for Evil Angel. The MPEG-2 encoded flick had a video bitrate hovering around the 3.2 Mbps area when I checked, the grain and other visual elements on the weak side at times but not consistently so as in many past efforts, the composition of the camera work enhancing the looks of the ladies in almost all cases. Like most directors, John provides his own set of distinctive quirks to the technical side of things, this time minimizing some of the panning and bumpy movement while making sure that not all the shots were done in extreme close up, the double disc compilation showcasing a lot of his talented mannerisms. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio track (in 192 Kbps using a 48 kHz sampling rate) was as basic as gonzo porn came be, with limited talking going on outside of John's own directions in the background. The cast could be heard moaning & groaning but this was definitely a limited selection based on audio quality.
