Extras: The best extra was the 12:36 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that amounted to a series of interviews with the cast members, some humor with Potter actually pretty well done but the feature lacked any material with Katie Morgan. There was also a 5:27 minute long pop shot recap and photogallery though neither did much for me, the inside cover featuring Alexa and Kendra to compliment Briana on the front cover but nothing for Katie as though something happened.

Audio/Video Quality: True MILF 3 was captured in anamorphic widescreen by director Mimefreak for Arch Angel. The solid lighting enhanced the accurate flesh tones of the cast and helped provide plenty of detail here, the editing was generally well done too though some portions had too much lighting that washed out parts of the screen. There was no company watermark and the video bit rate was decent, my viewing on a large screen television revealing only a very modest number of compression artifacts. The aural components in 1.0 Dolby Digital monaural were fairly basic, not in a bad way mind you but basic, the limited amount of talking and ambient noises blended in with the uncredited musical scoring that fit the action.

Body of Review: Mimefreak is an award nominated director working at Arch Angel these days, my appreciation for his creative efforts well documented here at XCritic. His latest movie in for review is called True MILF 3, a set of four scenes featuring experienced women some have labeled MILFs (mother’s I’d like to fuck), including the reported comeback scene of cover hotty Briana Banks; a former Vivid contract starlet with beautiful eyes and a curvier than ever body. Joining Briana, who was lucky enough to work with a well regarded male performer (Manuel Ferrara), was Kendra Lust, an amazing brunette performer that has started directing, adorable Katie Morgan, a blond cutie back in porn after having starred in an HBO series, and Spanish bombshell Alexa Tomas, a gal that is barely in her 30’s and the most questionable to garner the label in my estimation. But the big news here was the Briana scene, the others all skilled performers but having a “been there, done that” dynamic by comparison.

The company press release described the movie like this: “True MILF has been one of ArchAngel’s top-selling and critically-acclaimed series. The technical aspects were largely well handled by talented Mimefreak and his capable assistant Potter, some sections where the abundance of lighting overwhelmed the camera or the editing seemed a little rushed, but nothing significantly bad (which is expected of the well regarded director). In short, True MILF 3 might not have had the raw star power I felt the last volume in the series provided and the extras could have been better, the tease longer, and maybe some casting changes, but Mimefreak still managed to keep things interesting enough to get a nod so check it out.
