Extras: Surprisingly, there were some decent extras, the first of which was a 14:12 minute long screen test of Briana Banks shot by Regan Senter. It looked really bad (it was shot on a low end camcorder over ten years ago) but showed the first steps in the making of the performer we all know today as Briana. There was then a 4:16 minute long solo scene shot in the bathroom by Jim. She was young and fresh so fans might like to see the comparison. Next up was a 30 second advertisement for Passion Island, a website of some sort, and the last was a 1:37 minute raw footage pop shot facial she took long ago.

Audio/Video Quality: Briana Banks You Whore was presented in a 1.33:1 full frame color offering as shot years ago by director Jim Powers for current distribution by JM Productions (the scenes were shot for Notorious long ago). Using the MPEG-2 codec and a 480p resolution, the video bitrate fluctuated considerably, none of the scenes looking as lame as the screen test in the extras section but none of them looking up to standard for modern releases either. There was a lot of grain, video noise, and even some compression artifacts with the mediocre lighting not helping the flesh tones look particularly solid but the raw energy of the scenes was usually pretty decent all the same, the video bitrate tending to hover around the 3.4 Mbps area. The editing was choppy, there were numerous shadows, and the camera work was often lackadaisical too but as Jim has shown time and again, he delivers the goods even if doing so means cutting corners. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital encoded at the 192 Kbps bitrate using a 48 kHz sampling rate, some of the vocals appearing to have been dubbed or not caught well enough by the original microphones. Still, I could hear every exaggerated moan and groan, Briana pouring it on as needed.

Body of Review: Briana Banks has been a performer for over ten years now, her work under contract at Vivid showing her to be a talented gal when it comes to the art of milking a nut. In recent times, she has started her own production company and rather than take the "erotica" route like so many others have over the years, she has returned to her roots to get nasty once more, just like she was when her stage name was Mirage. In that line of thinking, it struck me as poetic that her latest title on the market is a compilation of her earliest works for director Jim Powers (most of which were shot for a company called Notorious or Multimedia), a title called Briana Banks You Whore. Crude title aside, fans of the currently curvy gal that did not have access to these scenes, including some previously unreleased footage including her sleazy agent's screen test. The rest of the show detailed Briana five full scenes, the newest of which was about nine years old. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Briana Banks, Rick Masters, and Johnny Thrust, were up first, Briana calling herself Mirage in a scene presumably shot for Perverted Stories 28 or White Trash Whore 16. They were in a beat up shed of some sort, weapons and tools on the beaten walls as Briana spoke clearly about her need for cock inside of her. The production values were on the decidedly weak side and Briana had yet to truly learn her craft as well as she has since then but fans of hers should have each of these scenes given how much Briana was in them. In short, Briana Banks You Whore is not going to successfully compete against her newest works at her production company by any stretch of the imagination but it does complement them and show how much times have improved so give it a look if you like Briana.
