Audio/Video Quality: The scenes were presented in the typical 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that is the standard for the porn industry at this time. The scenes themselves came from 2000 through 2003, a period of transition for Vivid in terms of increasing quality. The newer scenes looked better, of course, but there was still more grain and video noise than I like to see in my adult entertainment. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 stereo English but had no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was pretty weak. In short, the technical matters weren't exactly cutting edge, even for Vivid.

Body of Review: Before she retired from porn (at least for now), Cheyenne Silver was one of the most sought after gals in the jizz bizz. Her long legs, perky attitude and beautiful face were the object of many a wet dream, both inside and out of the porn industry. After leaving Vivid for the thrill of the dance circuit, the gal is still immortalized by the multitude of compilations Vivid has been releasing with her as the star. The latest one is 5 Star Cheyenne, which has ten scenes of the cutie in action, with a bunch of different partners. Scene One: Where The Boys Aren't 15: D-Chi Chi LaRue: The DVD started off with a winner of a scene starring Cheyenne, Raylene, Taylor, Dasha, Briana, Dayton, Kira, and Chelsea in a mechanic's garage lesbian scene. Raylene was the initial focus of the action but the gals soon split up into smaller combinations all over the place. It was playful and light with a lot of licking, fingering and toys being used. I've seen better on DVD before but I have to admit that I like this one more every time I see it (and I've seen this one a lot in recent months).

Scene Two: C-Men 2: D-Robby D.: Cheyenne, still looking hot, and TJ the pizza boy, had sex on the couch. Her dirty talk helped make this one worth watching but otherwise it was a by-the-numbers scene. Steven St. Croix listened in on them as they got busy but he couldn't have seen the playful way she teased his penis or the way she met TJ's thrusts in doggy style.

Scene Three: Delusional: D-Robby D.: Dale had his chance with Cheyenne in this scene. It was playful and had some fun foreplay as they warmed up. It had some anal for those into it but I think it was a good scene on a couple of levels.

Scene Four: Cheyenne: Extreme Close-Up: D-Paul Thomas: Cheyenne, Devin, and Michael had a scene on a lawn couch after a photoshoot. She blew Devin while Michael ate her out after which she turned around for Devin to bone her while she blew Michael. They switched positions a few times and the lovely lass even took some anal before they jerked off onto her.

Scene Five: Third Date: D-Cleo Edwards: Cheyenne had a scene with Ruby and Chris in what appeared to be a strip club. You could see much of the production crew in the mirrors here but I think the sex was pretty good with the gals giving Chris a lap dance of sorts while playing with one another. The sex was oral and straight with Ruby doing some face-sitting on Cheyenne as Chris hammered away at the lead performer's pussy.

Scene Six: End Of The World: D-Ralph Parfait: Cheyenne and Tanya had a lesbian scene in a warehouse of documents. It was pretty hot but the choppy editing and weak lighting lowered the heat a bit.

Scene Eight: Jumping Track: D-Ren Savant: Cheyenne, laying flat on her back and Greg, had a scene while Evan Stone watched them go at it. He went down on her and she seemed to enjoy it a lot, which got her ready for a penis in her pussy right afterwards. He wasn't the best porn stud I've seen lately (in fact, he looked a bit gay and didn't seem to be able to keep his penis very hard during the scene), which killed it for me.

Scene Nine: Inside Sex 2: D-Casty Grant: Cheyenne got to work with an established stud this time; Mark. They did oral and straight like professionals, sadly with little chemistry this time, and then some anal. It wasn't a very hardcore and she didn't appear to enjoy it much, weakening the scene for me.

Scene Ten: End Of The World: D-Ralph Parfait: Cheyenne, Sky, and Andre had a scene on a black leather couch. Cheyenne didn't even walk in until the scene was half through, a problem for me, but when push came to shove, she did a good job, as did Sky. Andre did a fair job (at best) but between the modest straight sex and the little bit of anal, there wasn't a lot of him to go around. It ended with a minor pop shot to the gal's chests.

Summary: 5 Star Cheyenne is an okay compilation but if you've seen some of her other work, it's just worth a rating of Rent It. By this point in time, I'm wondering if Vivid has already released all the good scenes with her in them. The technical matters weren't too bad but the heat wasn't what it should have been in many of the scenes.
