Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. Aside from some lighting problems that alternately caused a few minutes to look too light and then other moments too dark, some grain and other color saturation problems, the artifacts were minimal. The sound was off as well though with background noises being fairly common and the performers not at optimal levels. I had a problem with the disc locking up and needed to restart the dvd a few times when watching the extras too.

Body of Review: Anarchy Films is the new kid on the block and have made some pretty good movies of late, unfortunately, they've also made some stinkers. In Pop That Cherry 3, the scenes suffer from some dumb production moments (notable because assistant cameraman Jimmy D. is known for doing solid work as a director) but have some attractive gals to display. As with all trade-offs, this leaves me the dilemma of deciding which route to review; the fix the basics route, or the attractive babes route. Taking a middle ground seems almost unfair because the gals will make better films elsewhere and Jordan needs to learn the basics of videography if he's going to direct for this potentially shining new company. Here's a breakdown of the scenes:

Scene One: Serena, the cutie from the dvd cover, and Brett, had a scene on a bed. She has a great look and the action wasn't bad for a beginner.

Scene Two: Katie, another cutie with an all natural body, took care of John after taking a bath. The sex was warm but why they left the water running for the first half of the scene is beyond me (it made the performers all but unlistenable). Not bad sex but the lighting was off as well.

Scene Three: Katarina, a gal with a bad perm and a lean body, and the massive Lee screwed on a couch. The heat was minimal this time as she did nothing for me and he's done better before.

Scene Four: Layla, a dark haired gal that claims to have made about 25 movies before this one-making her the most experienced gal of the show, and Trevor had sex on a couch. Mostly mechanical action here and her experience is noted for teaching her the wrong lessons (ie: louder screams that sound fake are worse than softer moans that sound fake). Pass.

Scene Five: Domino, a hotty with a girl next door face and a killer ass, took on Brett on a bed. Her dirty talk added to the fun here although her dragonlady fingernails looked stupid. Not bad sex here.

Summary: I haven't seen the first few volumes in the series and most companies have been releasing similar product for some time. If Anarchy can fix the technical aspect of their dvds, I'm willing to bet their sales go up. I also wish they'd be honest in their advertising-the boxcover claims a lot more length than the feature had. At just over 90 minutes of footage for the feature itself, you don't get much fuck for your buck unless the price goes down by half. Most companies don't include the extras as part of the running length and the few that do have lost many sales because of it. For the overall attractiveness of the mostly new cast having a decent time in many of the scenes, I'll rate this one as a Rent It but it easily would've gotten a higher rating if the picture and sound had been better.
