Extra's: The extras started off with a 13.5 minute feature focusing on Isobel where she teased the camera by showing off her ample sample in a small room (probably at the offices of Elegant Angel) while wearing a pair of PVC shorts and black top. She spent the rest of the feature masturbating on the couch, something I really liked (how come the others were left out?). This was followed by an 8.5 minute Behind the Scenes feature showing Thomas instructing the crew on their scenes. I wish there had been more but it was well worth checking out for the extra nudity alone. There was also a set of six trailers, a photogallery and some spam here but nothing special.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as originally shot by director Zupko. The colors were fairly accurate and the clarity only slightly faded but I didn't see any compression artifacts or video noise (except during some of the fishnet material). While not the best looking picture in a porno, it didn't detract from the heat of the sexual antics and that's really all you can ask for, yes? The audio was presented in the usual stereo English although if there was any separation between the channels, I sure didn't notice it. You could hear the moans, groans and begging for more penis so the basics were covered even if the dynamic range wasn't exactly something I'd write home about. For the most part, the technical aspects were good enough although some improvement would go a long way to making fussy critics like myself focus more on the heated sex (hint hint).

Body of Review: Thomas Zupko is something of a strange man in my book, as well as others. His brand of porn ranges from some of the most twisted stuff on the market to far more conventional gonzo that is enjoyed by the masses. While not exactly the type of guy a gal would take home to mother (unless mom was a sailor who watched weird porn and partook of gang bangs), I have to give the guy credit for some of my favorite releases this year. His latest DVD for Elegant Angel is Ass Quake, a show with five scenes of stomping anal action with a very attractive cast of loose women. While they weren't all the most gorgeous gals in porn, I had no doubt that each liked anal sex more than most of their counterparts working for other companies as contract gals. If you enjoy anal sex with lots of ATM (ass to mouth), check out the following breakdown of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Makayla, a curvy brunette wearing the same fishnet outfit seen on the front DVD cover with a tight set of panties, began the show by warming up for Marco at a bar. This gal looked very much like the kind who many fans run towards at industry shows with her sweet ass proving a formidable challenge to tap. She masturbated during the tease, taking her hand up her ass and tasting it for effect with some music video style editing for kicks. In mere moments, he was face deep in her cheeks and ready to rip off his clothes in order to sample some of it first hand (or is that first dick?) by going straight to the anal. She did more ATM (ass to mouth) and I believe the advertised "seven anal positions" was an accurate description of what took place during this very well done scene. There was a lot of energy, some solid chemistry, and I liked the action more than any other scenes she's been in to date.

Scene Two: Isobel, another curvy brunette with a large, round ass and thick legs, came into the bar and teased by licking her glass and fingers in such a way as to make it clear what she wanted (and how quickly she wanted it). Her black PVC shorts rode her ass nicely as she wiggled about. Scene Three: Venus, a leaner gal than the previous two with a nice set of curves of her own, walked into the bar wearing fishnet stockings and a mesh two piece outfit before pouring a drink of wine on her ass and breasts. She masturbated like she was on fire against the jukebox and in no time at all she was all over one of the bar patrons (William?) before Marco had to handle her by himself. They did the same spanking and oral from the last scene with the usual slapping for effect but as much as the previous gals were energetic, Venus took the prize! They went right to the anal after that and did nearly as many positions as Makayla with all the same ATM before he popped off on her face. Whew!

Scene Four: Genesis, a brown-haired gal that gave me a revelation (bad pun, sorry), walked into a different bar than the previous one (this one had a Tiki theme to it) only to find Brett bartending. Scene Five: Jamie, in a bar set up that looked more like a home bar than anything else, came in wearing a pink dress and asking Brian if he wanted various body parts of hers. She was less subtle than the others (if such a thing were possible) and began jerking herself off right in front of him, doing the usual ATM and everything else. He became especially interested when she began slapping him and he soon put her in her place by slapping her back. She blew him with perhaps the best oral of the movie, gagging all the way down to his balls, and he returned the favor by slamming her ass energetically. Initially in the standing position and then giving her the taste test, he wasn't going to take any BS from her and went back to plugging her soundly while the kind of goofy song "ass quake" played too loudly in the background. After a few more positions, he dropped his load onto her lovely face (she was the most attractive facially by current porn standards) and the screen faded out to some spam.

Summary: This wasn't the best Elegant Angel DVD I've seen this year but it was certainly solid enough on all accounts to earn a respected Recommended from me. The sexually skilled, attractive women were the primary reason but Zupko's direction and technical skills sure didn't hurt the movie either. If you like anal gonzo but want something different than the latest Red Light District or Evil Angel showing (which have their own merits, I might add), you'd do well to check some of the releases Elegant Angel has been putting out this year, including Ass Quake. It's not the kind of porn your dad watched growing up but it sure can compete with most of the releases on the market based on its own strengths. Some of the gals definitely changed my mind about their relative merits too so give it a chance if you want some fun.
