I've seen several Vivid compilations so far, and although many of them have had good scenes, the overall impression on a few of them just wasn't quite as strong as I'd like. "Big and Tasty", the latest compilation feature I've seen from the studio, is thankfully one of the better ones I've seen. The scenes, made up of curvy women in hardcore scenes, aren't all perfect, but most are good and the scenes are generally consistent in quality.



The first scene with Keisha, Chennin Blanc and Tony Tedeschi is a solid one. The girls do a little kissing (nice, but could have gone on longer) before going to work on their co-star. Tony gives oral to Chennin while Keisha continues to go down on him. The promise of girl-on-girl action with the kiss gets fufilled as Keisha goes down on Chennin while Tony takes Keisha from behind. Finally, Tony roughly takes Chennin while Keisha looks on and occasionally plays with her breasts. Nothing too hardcore or exceptional here, but nice camerawork, good chemistry between the stars and fine energy.



Next scene is with Kiwi, Bree, Nikko Night and Brian Surewood. The scene starts off with a weird "Austin Powers"-ish dance sequence in the middle of a hospital (that's what I don't like about these porn compilations - it's a bit jarring to come in in the middle of some of these "stories"). Anyways, nice scene - a little bit above average. The two girls do some warm making out while their male co-stars work them with their fingers, then the two girls give their male co-stars oral, occasionally switching places. Good, somewhat rough sex follows as the camera skips back-and-forth between the two couplings.



Cricket and Mark Davis star in the next scene, where he takes her to jail for being drunk. It's only a matter of time before they're doing it in the cell in several positions. She's an energetic blonde with big breasts and a lot of energy; I'm not quite sure about her face, but she's good in this scene. He finishes all over her ample breasts. I liked how there was little/no music over this scene.



The next scene is with Neena and Jon Dough; it's not too long after her giving him oral that the sex starts in. The music is annoying as hell, but the sex isn't bad; she takes it vaginally and anally and is convincingly loud throughout the scene. It finishes with a facial. The music ruins a pretty decent scene.



The scene with Rebecca Wild and Mike Horner starts with her going crazy as he goes down on her like there's no tomorrow. She takes a pounding vaginally in a few positions before she gets it anally, doggy style. The next scene is with Bobby Vitale and Wild again; she has much better chemistry with her co-star here and looks better as a blonde here (her hair looked darker in the previous scene). They happily give each other oral (she gives him a titjob, too) and run through several positions (but she doesn't take it anally here).



Kelly Jean and Mitchel Gant star in the next scene. Both start off with some oral, before they jump around on the couch in several positions, with her taking it vaginally, then anally. It's not a bad scene and she's cute, but it's fairly quick and I couldn't help but feel that it was rather ordinary and unmemorable. There also looks to be a problem with the tape master early the scene.



Tasha Hunter, Nicole Sheridan and Damien Michaels star in the next scene. Like a few other scenes on this tape, there's not much foreplay to be found - it's not long before Nicole is having sex on a couch with Damien while licking Tasha, who's standing over both of them. The two girls seem to be into each other more than Michaels; they have some nice moments playing with each other's hair and bodies. While they take turns with Michaels, they're still playing with each other, using their fingers and a dildo. Oddly, some guy is occasionally seen watching through the window.



Kitten, Shelbee Myne, Pat Myne and Ian Daniels star in the next scene. Some cute blonde takes pictures while both couples go at it on a nice looking poolside. Both pairings are good, although Shelbee Myne looks especially fine and gives a solid performance, although it struck me as odd that she doesn't take her top off throughout the entire scene. Sort of a bummer.



Shelbee Myne (who looks hotter with her hair braided here and Tony Tedeschi star in the next scene. The two fly through a couple of positions here before he gives her a facial. Kind of a cold, quick scene. The next scene is with Tedeschi and the busty Lovette. It's seconds after she simply goes "hi" that they're pawing each other on the stairs of a house. She moans and groans loudly as he takes her doggystyle against the stairs. The two go through that one position before he finishes all over her giant breasts - and we don't see enough of those breasts throughout the scene.



Sindee Coxx and Nick East star in the next scene - she's trying to convince him to let her girlfriend into some race. Soon enough, she's convincing him up against and on a tractor at some farm. The sex wasn't particularly intense, but the two were good together and shared nice chemistry. Sensual scene, if nothing terribly memorable.



Colt Steel and cute, big breasted blonde Dakota star in the next scene. Once again, annoying music almost ruins an otherwise good scene. Dakota's cute, young and has a good attitude; the two go through a few minutes of oral (a titjob for him and some fairly intense fingering for her) before the sex begins - she takes it vaginally in a few positions, all with a big smile on her face and a lot of moaning. Good scene.



Champagne and Guy Disilvia star in the next scene - badly-lit and scored to rap, the scene wasn't much. The action picks up a bit with a scene from Dru Berrymore, Steven St. Croix and Kendra Jade. A lot of nice girl-on-girl action here - that's how the scene starts before St. Croix stops watching and joins in. The three take turns with each other, but I would have liked to have seen more interaction between the girls, who were great together.



The next scene with Jessica Darlin and Sanafey is a strange bit of business about a girl who recently passed away having sex with the grim reaper - who, as you might have guessed - is a hot chick. Really bad acting, really bad props and music make this scene far more untentionally hilarious than anything else. The program ends with Cassandra and Joel Lawrence and Chris Cannon. No foreplay here, just Cassandra's massive, natural breasts flopping around as her two co-stars take turns having sex with her and getting oral. She takes it vaginally and anally before both give her a facial.



The total running time is 3 hours and 44 minutes; some commericals (but not many) are randomly inserted throughout.




The DVD



VIDEO/AUDIO: The 1.33:1 full-frame picture occasionally varies a bit in quality due to different productions from different years, but at least the image never looked too fuzzy or soft. Some compression artifacts did appear at times, as did the strange, brief tape flaw that appeared in one scene. Audio is a clear stereo track, although some of the dubbing was rather obvious in a handful of scenes.



EXTRAS: Previews and a photo gallery are the only extras.



Overall: Above-average video compilation from Vivid - a mix of quality is noticed, but generally, the scenes here were pretty good. The price ($12.95 at adultdvdempire.com) is also right. Recommended.
