Audio/Video Quality: My First Porn 4 was presented in a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen color as originally shot by the very talented Robby D.. The lighting and camera style were similar to the excellent Teen America series so I knew I wouldn't have a lot to complain about here. Thanks to the proper lighting, there were very few problems with the grain or video noise that other series by the director (including the occasional volume of Jack's Playground) seem to have and this was a pleasing aspect of the show. In terms of the DVD mastering, I saw no compression artifacts, moiré, or other compression based issues. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround although the vocals were likely shot in monaural with the popular coding added in during the post production work. Still, outside of some minor periods of hollowness, I could hear what was said (along with all the usual background noise). To sum up the technical values, they were generally very well done with the kind of care expected of the folks from Digital Playground.

Body of Review: Robby D., the creative genius behind a great many pornos over the years, is currently making folks happy with numerous series at Digital Playground. Billed as "Jack", he explores various aspects of porn making with each series providing a slightly different look at his character's universe. The latest of these is My First Porn 4, the sequel to My First Porn 3, where Jack continues his quest to make a porno using advice from all his friends and an older mentor billed as Leo Pradnesh (with voiceovers by Joey Pulgadas). This is the first of the series to stray away from using a contract star as the main draw, opening up the show to a number of others in what is often considered a risky step. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that the comedy was once again a bit lighter than the series provided, but with some of the same style sex scenes found in Jack's Playground and Teen America:

Scene One: Jasmine Byrne, a regular to porn and a hotty to boot, was up first as a secretary wanting to play with Scott Nails inside the living room. He had taken too much Viagra and she was dressed in a striped top with hot white pants that hugged her sweet curves nicely. Okay, Jasmine is one of the best gals in porn for a few reasons; she's great to look at, sexually skilled, and conveys a sense of heat wherever she goes. I can't say that she's looked any tighter and firmer in recent months, and she seemed as frisky as ever in terms of her performance with him on the bed. He's not the biggest guy in porn but his ability to stay hard has served him well and she seemed to think he was just the right fit here. The condom was unobtrusive but I was more concerned that she was letting him do most of the work instead of bouncing on his dick like I prefer to see gals do. She got better with time but he didn't last all that long to catch her up to speed before he rubbed out a load onto her chest.

Scene Three: Brandy Talore, a girl next door looking gal (on the right side of the front DVD cover) with huge breasts in a bright neon green and white outfit that accentuated her ample chest, was up with a very impatient Chris Charming after that. Jack timed her to the second for her 18th birthday as part of the humor and Chris was lost in her mounds of joy and pussy. Summary: My First Porn 4 was kind of a let down from the earlier chapters, not for the lack of a Digital Playground contract hotty so much as the hit or miss nature of the women in the scenes. I expect the humor to vary a lot from volume to volume so the mostly missing comedy wasn't that big a deal but the women were not typically at their best and even though I like the concept, it just seemed rushed this time. The scenes appeared to be more from one of the other series (different scenes seemed to be made for different series) and the glue that held the premise together was not present in any significant way. There was some decent levels of fuck for the buck and I liked the cast in some ways but this was definitely a Rent It volume of the series in most ways, even if the technical matters seemed improved upon over some of the weaker efforts I've seen of late. If you're a fan of the ladies here, by all means pick up your own copy but don't say I didn't warn you to check it out as a rental first.
