Extra's: Like most Wicked releases, there were a lot of extras. From the 14.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jeff Scott, to the bonus scene between Julia Ann and Randy Spears from The Assignment, to the short interview with Julia Ann, the Bloopers, Box Shoot, photogalleries, Star Stats, trailers, promo reels, DVD Rom material, and even a Wicked Pictures DVD catalog, there was some good stuff here. I think the BTS feature was the best extra by far but it was all good to this reviewer.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn is made these days. There was a slightly soft feel to the picture, as if Brad wanted to emulate film rather than the superior (on a low budget at least) video. The grain and video noise were not that bad but it could've been cleaned up easily had that been desired. The colors were generally accurate and there were no artifacts noticed during my screening of the show. The audio was presented n the usual 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound English but there wasn't much dynamic range to speak of and while the music and vocals were properly mixed, I think Wicked might want to work on this aspect a little more since so many of us have home theatre setups these days.

Body of Review: In all of porn, there is but one director that knows every little nuance about stories relating to infidelity and that's Brad Armstrong. I've heard this from just about every source possible, including performers, directors, producers, and publicists, as well as having noticed it as his most common theme in his movies (he often writes them as well as directs). That made him the perfect candidate to make Confessions Of An Adulteress, the latest Wicked Pictures feature DVD. The story is about a gal played by Julia Ann who is fed up with a boring, loveless marriage so she starts exploring her needs with anyone who crosses her path. As much as I wished that path included a certain reviewer from Houston, TX, the story was kind of downbeat, much like the type you see from Vivid's David Stanley all the time. If you're looking for something a couple could enjoy with an attractive, older cast, read the following breakdown of scenes by cast:

Scene One: Lezley, a lean brunette that has been a staple in porn for some time now, had a scene in bed with Brad. They made out and she blew him as solidly as she always does and he took the opportunity to finger her before they boned wildly in bed. Julia watched than and rubbed herself a bit while doing so but never participated, as I would've liked. Both did a decent job but it wasn't their best scenes.

Scene Two: Julia, looking far younger than her years, had a scene on a couch with Eric. If you've lived under a rock for the past ten years, she's the hotty on the front DVD cover that was once part of a touring team known as Blondage (she was the brains as much as the talent). They did oral and straight sex with some chemistry but none of the circus act sex you'd hopefully want to avoid. I've always thought she was hot and this scene, however limited, didn't change my mind as Eric jerked off onto her body.

Scene Three: Julia, Eric, and Cheyne had a scene on a couch that started with her blowing Cheyne as hammered away at her pussy from behind. They swapped positions a time or two and the scene didn't last very long but it was still fun to watch as it had Julia in it.

Scene Four: Nicole, looking very hot, had a scene with Voodoo on a rooftop as Julia watched them and masturbated. Julia joined in this time and this became the hottest scene of the movie. Oral and straight sex were on the plate here with a slight bit of anal to Nicole and the outdoor lighting combined with their natural energy and chemistry made the scene enjoyable from a couples perspective.

Scene Five: Lonnie, looking very much like superstar Jesse Jane, had a scene in a bathtub with Julia. The two cleaned one another and licked each other clean although the sex was fairly limited in nature. There was some licking and vibrator use but that was about it. I hope to see more of Lonnie in the future; she's just that cute.

Scene Six: Julia, in a dark bathroom setting, had a slightly rough (for Wicked Pictures) scene with Randy. He dominated her and pulled her hair as the two hooked up. Most of it was him boning her from behind and they looked good together but it ended with a facial, something she's not known for these days. It was a good scene but too short for my tastes.

Summary: I've been a fan of Julia's for years and think the other gals are hot too but the movie seemed a bit rushed to me and even a trifle unfinished in some ways. It was cool that Julia was in or nearby almost all the scenes but that wasn't enough to compensate for the flaws in technical matters as well as the story. I still think it's worth a rating of Rent It but this was coming from me as a fan, not an objective reviewer. Check it out if you enjoy the cast and let me know what you think.
