Audio/Video Quality: Best of Devil’s Film 2014 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by the uncredited staff of Devil’s Films. I really like to know who is in charge of the making of a movie since it allows blame or credit to be handed out, a lack of name typically tied to blame if you want to be fair but I also think it is imperative that company’s properly label compilations too. The lighting was solid here even if the vocals were hollow, the flesh tones accurate as a result and the framing seemingly off at times; some scenes much better looking than others. There were a lot of close up shots included and some aggressive editing, the movie looking slightly better than previous volumes in the series but still having a long way to go to really compete against the big boys of porn. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen at all times, some of the framing causing it to get in the way but not too often, a fair amount of compression artifacts observed when I watched this on my big screen television.. The aural components were very basic this time, the hollow vocals and minor background noises containing lots of groans and occasional music but not developed very much.

Body of Review: Devil’s Film has taken great strides since new owners took over awhile back, some of their series impressing a variety of critics and reviewers as the company set out to upgrade their works. The latest title in for review is the recently released Best of Devil’s Film 2014, a selection of 9 full scenes from the company vaults over the last year, many of them among my personal favorites from the company though others not ready for prime time as it were. With ladies like Bonnie Rotten, Julia Ann, and Remy LaCroix in some of the scenes, I was hopeful this would be as good as it sounded to me, knowing full well that some of the scenes had already been used in other compilations. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

With ladies like Skin Diamond, Bonnie Rotten, and Siri on hand to help fill your spank bank in some of the scenes, I can see why Best of Devil’s Film 2014 may well appeal to a general audience as prices drop so give it a look, noting that I included a scene trailer for each scene linked to my screen captures above.
