Audio/Video Quality: Bonnieland: A Gangbang Fantasy was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Bonnie Rotten for Girlfriend Films. The technical credits listed Robert Queensgate as responsible for shooting it, editing it and scoring the title though “Nor’s” was listed as the director of photography too. This approach seemed more coherent than the hippy flick from last time, at least the gangbang portion, the other two portions well done on their own merits. There were some compression artifacts observed at times but nothing out of the ordinary given the amount of material compressed onto the disc, the flesh tones and other elements looking accurate. The aural components of the show were fairly basic but I could hear all vocals easily, the score was well done, and the relative lack of ambient noises showed someone was paying attention. The vocals were minimal compared to the moaning but I could hear most of what was going on, the score having just the right touch to sell the big top theme.

Body of Review: Bonnie Rotten is a well known performer of the year starlet who has recently started directing her own brand of movies for Girlfriend Films. Her latest release is called Bonnieland: A Gangbang Fantasy, a set of three scenes with a circus feel to them, the emphasis on anal action a major selling point. Bonnie was joined by hotty Remy LaCroix for a lesbian tryst and had a scene with Brick Danger (no, I’m not making this up) where Bonnie starred as a mermaid in need of rescue, but the main event was the heavily promoted gangbang with a wide variety of mopes that included a few quality guys too, Bonnie noting that she did her first on camera double vaginal (DPP) and the IAFD marking it as her first triple penetration (two in the pussy, another in the ass) though not saying if she was air tight at any given time. There was also a bonus scene from her directorial debut as an extra, read on for more detail.

Even as the industry shrinks, most titles offer a minimum of four new scenes and don’t include the bonus scenes as part of the running time or stuffed into the movie itself as was done here, the lesbian outing solid enough and the quizzical mermaid encounter suffering for lack of a better meat puppet as well as better handling of the subject matter. Still, Bonnie is always great to watch in action so she often makes up points lost for using lower level males by her enthusiasm and energy levels, true fans of the hot young lady certainly needing a copy of this one to flesh out their collection. In short, Bonnieland: A Gangbang Fantasy showed the gal spreading her wings to expand her directorial expression, the opening scene including some “firsts” just as the entire movie was a showcase spotlight on her acknowledged award winning performance abilities so give it a look.
