The Movie:

We all love foxy blonde porno starlets, don't we? Well, I do at least. So it was with great pleasure that I took a look at another of the seemingly endless gonzo compilations from Vivid Video. Focusing on the rather limitless talents of Ms. Jenteal, this compilation kicks in with some of her more Oscar worthy scenes (that is, once you get past the five minutes worth of annoying commercials that Vivid insists on forcing you to fast forward through to get to the feature).

Chapter 1 – The credits! A couple of clips of Jenteal and some of her co-stars in action, presumably to get us psyched up for what's to come.

Chapter 2 – The first real action of the disc comes to us in the form of this clip from Arcade starring Jenteal and Toni Tedeschi. The two of them go at it in a video editing suite with a prolonged oral sequence that leads up to Toni bending her over a chair and showing her why he is 'the man.'

Chapter 3 – A clip from Blow Dry (clever title, huh?) with Jenteal and the ever present T. T. Boy in a barber shop. No actual hair cutting takes place though, unless you're somehow able to see T. T. Boy slamming Jenteal (all decked out in a nice plaid skirt here) as some sort of metaphor for cutting hair (and if you can, you're weird). She does jerk him off with her foot in this scene though, which is kind of interesting, and does require some flexibility on her part the way she does it.

Chapter 4 – Jenteal takes all that Jon Dough has to offer in this next clip from Censored. Playing together at a lovely poolside setting, the two enjoy each other's company to some classical music, Jon Dough never once taking off his sunglasses.

Chapter 5 – Alex Sanders gets into the groove with this sexy snippet from a film I like to call Dirty Little Secret. They conveniently find a bed in some grubby alleyway somewhere and go to town on each other. They seem to enjoy it though, so I guess I shouldn't make fun of them for having sex in an alleyway.

Chapter 6 – Next up, Tony Tedeschi returns for another romp in a segment from First Impulse. Jenteal seduces him by the light of a campfire starting with a little 69 action, which leads up to the inevitable doggy style fun. Jenteal keeps her socks on in this one. Maybe she didn't want to get her feet dirty.

Chapter 7 – Brad Armstrong and Jenteal are modeling for a photo shoot in this clip from My Secret Life. Jenteal holds a remote for the camera and snaps away as Brad uses his tongue and then his tool to keep the camera busy. Brad lets his finger walk a little further south in what is the only (minor) anal scene on the disc.

Chapter 8 – Mickey G gives Jenteal some Riding Lessons in this clip from the film of the same clever name. The two are hanging out in the farmhouse as things get a little steamy. Clothes come off, body parts are sucked, and the two make lots of sweaty, grunty noises.

Chapter 9 – Steven St. Croix takes Jenteal on a tour of The Sex Gallery next. Some goofy pastel color gels are used to light this scene that follows the same suck-fuck formula that all the other clips on this feature seem to subscribe to.

Chapter 10 – T. T. Boy is back (yay!) for another poke, this time dressed as a Native American Shaman or something. He's got a fancy beaded headband on as well as some tribal jewelry of some sort. Anyway, I'm guessing he's healing Jenteal with his penis in this clip from Stardust 5. They do the unskinny bop in a bedroom that looks like it was decorated by a thirteen year old hippy chick to a really annoying musical score.

Chapter 11 – The grand finale is a clip from Suggestive Behavior featuring Jenteal and Bobby Vitale. Sporting some black patent heels, Jenteal rides him in what appears to be the kitchen of a restaurant.

The DVD

Video:

All of the material is full frame, (save for the trailers in the extras, and the credits sequence), which is obviously how it was composed. Video quality varies throughout by clip, some fare considerably better than others. A few of them are quite blotchy looking and not in the best of shape, likely due to the shot on video origins of the material. Most of the clips fare ok though and are about what you'd expect if you've seen any of the recent Vivid compilations.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital Stereo track is of reasonable quality. It does show the limitations of the source material in that some of the clips are a little hissy, but other than that, it's acceptable. You can't really expect high end audio on what is essentially a compilation of recycle fuck scenes.

Extras:

First up is a behind the scenes feature that takes a look at the making of In The Mind Of Chloe Jones. It features all of the stars and starlets of the film and is more or less a candid look at the way things work on the set. It's about eleven minutes long and is worth checking out once.

Three Bonus Rooms are also included on the disc. The first clip is from Tangled Web and stars Jenteal and Mark Davis in a pretty standard ten minutes bedroom romp. Room number two is a clip from Where The Boys Aren't 12 starring Jenteal, Devone, and Raylene. This is another ten-minute clip and is a pretty intense lesbian scene involving a strap-on and a water bottle. The third and final bonus room is from Where The Boys Aren't 13 starring Jenteal, Julia Ann, and Taylor Hayes. This one is almost thirteen minutes long and features the three ladies having some fun in the great outdoors.

Trailers for Inside The Mind Of Chloe Jones, 5 Star Tia Bella, Night Sticks, and Deep Inside Lola can be found in the previews section of the menu. All said and done, the trailers total just shy of eleven minutes.

Five minutes worth of phone sex advertisements, a two minute long slideshow in the form of a photo gallery, and a weblink for the Vivid Video website round out the supplements.

Final Thoughts:

The Real Jenteal is a pretty standard Vivid compilation with average A/V quality and some pretty solid scenes. If you like Jenteal, this is worth picking up, just be aware that there isn't really any new material on the disc, so you may end up repeating some scenes depending on what films you already own.
