Extra's: The best extra was a 14.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that had some of the cast and the director discussing (and making) the movie. Eric Masterson, Cindy Crawford, and the lovely Katie Morgan were the focal point of the show but a couple of others got some screen time too. The other extras included some trailers, three photogalleries, and nothing else.

Audio/Video Quality: My Living Doll was presented in the same non-anamorphic widescreen it was shot in by director Cash Markman for Jill Kelly Productions looking to be about 1.85:1. The colors were accurate but the composition of the shots did little to enhance the look of the gals in most cases, lowering some of the inherent heat they possessed. There was also grain and some compression artifacts but otherwise the picture looked pretty good in most scenes (it could've used better editing and the fact that the boom microphone was a regular guest star showed the quickie nature of the movie). The stereo audio was presented in a 2.0 English track but there was nothing exceptional about it in any way. I could hear the vocals but they were usually trumpted by the droning music so you may want to keep the remote control handy with this one.

Body of Review: In the waning days of Jill Kelly Productions attempts at feature porn, they made a host of light hearted movies that were weak on story and fair on providing their contract performers various vehicles for showcasing their abilities. Just as one doesn't expect much in terms of quality acting from a porno, one doesn't usually expect a lot of a second tier production company when it comes to edgy porn; most of the time, the movies being made solely for the couples crowd that hasn't watched enough porn to get jaded. One of the last releases from JKP that wasn't a compilation was My Living Doll, a story in the lines of the mainstream release Mannequin where a lonely and dejected Eric Masterson finds love in the form of a Cindy Crawford blow up doll. Discussing the matter with his friends and psychiatrist (well played in a low key performance by Frank Bukkwyd), he journeys through life until tragedy befalls his significant other. If you're a fan of the cast, you might enjoy this as much as a porno newbie would so read on to see if you're interested or not in this movie that did see some condom use:

Scene One: Katie Morgan, a very attractive hotty with long, flowing blonde hair and beautiful eyes, was up first with dopy Eric Masterson after she seduced him on a couch. Her pantiless skirt and white top fueled the normal fantasy about a younger gal wanting some older guy action and after she practically begged him to do her; he started snacking on her crack as though it contained nectar of the gods. I think I like her more now than I ever did except for her implants of course, since she's still looking young but has a nicer ass, a better head of hair, and the same cute face. Her blowjob to him wasn't as good as she usually gives but the boning action was really heated as she maintained eye contact with him and aggressively rode him while calling on him to ride her harder. It ended when he rubbed out a small load onto her chest in this nice way to start a porno.

Scene Two: Cindy Crawford, the blonde female lead of the movie, cute brunette Chloe Dior, and studly Tommy Gunn, were up next on a bed in a scenario built upon a porno image (Eric was watching a porno). Cindy and Chloe had some lesbian fun to the thumping music before the gals put their oral abilities to the test by sharing Tommy's "gun" enthusiastically. This oral was more fun than Katie's but Cindy's riding skills weren't so the scene seemed a mixed bag. Chloe seemed there for support much of the time until she also got to get some boning from the studly guy. In all, the scene was kind of generic but fans of the two gals will want to see it.

Scene Three: Bobbi Blair, a gal that reminded me of a younger, all natural Asia Carrera, and Tyra Banxxx, the former JKP contract black gal, were up next in a lesbian scene by, and in, the pool. I've found that Tyra, while pleasing to some fans in terms of looks, isn't the best performer of the bunch when it comes to men so I was hoping she'd do better with a gal pal this time. For the most part, she was okay but it was Bobbi that shone like a beacon of heat with her playful demeanor and casual flair for the action. I wasn't sure why the scene went to the inside of the pool but it was a bit below average in most ways, even if I liked Bobbi's part in it.

Scene Four: Naudia Rio, a gal with all natural (small) breasts but a wonderfully curvy ass and attractive face, was up next with porn veteran Kyle Stone outside on a lawn chair. He was the sexual aggressor this time but she held up her end of the deal too as she slobbed his knob with glee and determination. The best oral in the picture was met with one of the laziest screws though and even her willingness to do anal couldn't save the scene from mediocrity. A lifeless fuck in real life or the movies is weak and I suppose I was disappointed since she's been rumored to be a great lay but it wasn't happening here.

Scene Five: Cindy Crawford, dressed in pink and black, looked better this time as she took care of Eric Masterson on the staircase. She was far more energetic this time as she inhaled his penis and let the slobber slide down her chest, wiggling her hips all the while as though she were getting off. She gave his ass a little lick too but stopped short of providing a full contact salad toss (rimjob) in favor of giving him more head. He went down on her too but it was how she rode him that worked wonders for my libido. They then took it to a bed upstairs and continued the action with plenty of dirty talk to elevate the heat levels of the scene. It was a well done scene and had lots of replay value for those of you who track such things.

Summary: My Living Doll was a Rent It in my book due to the generic sex scenes, the lower than average production values, and the weak extras but fans of Cindy Crawford and the others here may find enough material to warrant picking one up now that there's a sale going on. Whoever ends up with the JKP catalog will probably tear features like this one apart in hopes of taking the better scenes and making compilations but there was some merit to the overall show too. I'm not sure what will happen to JKP now that Jill Kelly is gone but suffice it to say, there aren't many people in porn that are hopeful about the company's long term prospects given releases like this one.
