Extras: The best extra was the 9.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. There was some extra sex, discussion of various topics (including the history some of the gals had with Tony) but it was fun to watch, if short. The ending credits of the movie suggest that you can get more footage by going to the website but I didn't see any on there so your mileage may vary. There was a photogallery and pop shot compilation from the scenes too, all in a fold out DVD case that actually seemed pretty appealing.

Audio/Video Quality: Sore Throat was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Tony T. for release by Original Entertainment. The lighting was very even in most cases which limited the levels of grain and video noise (pet peeves of mine). The composition of the shots also seemed to enhance the look of the ladies in nearly every case, something Tony has been working on in recent months. The fleshtones were accurate in most of the scenes (perhaps slightly warm looking but better than you'll find at most gonzo companies). There were some compression artifacts and the picture pixilated a few times but it wasn't a frequent occurrence. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo Dolby Digital English with the option of turning off the droning music in favor of just having the vocals. I wish more companies offered this audio option since music in porn is almost always the last consideration, even though 50% of the viewing experience (in better movies at least) centers on audio.

Body of Review: Original Entertainment is the new kid on the block in terms of porn production companies, started up by industry veteran Ron E. who worked at Diabolic for the better part of a decade according to sources. The first release by the company is Sore Throat, directed by Tony T. with a lot of emphasis on oral action and rough treatment of the ladies. If that's what you are looking for, read no further and go buy a couple of copies (you'll wear this one out) since Tony has long been providing such scenes on both sides of the camera. In absolute terms, the movie had a lot of suck for the buck with numerous gals getting the hot hairy one in their pussy and ass as well but you'll see why the title included sore in it pretty quickly. That said, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used and no lovey dovey baby talk was included in the movie:

Scene One: Christie Lee, a very cute gal with an all natural body, and the lovely Barbara Summers were up first as Barbara slapped her new friend around on a couch. In the BTS feature, Christie made it clear that this was a first for her but it was playfully done and the lesbian aspects of the scene worked for me more than a little (I like Christie's slightly plump figure and Barbara is hot looking in the glamorous way porn offers). They ate each other and Barbara even started fucking her with a foot before Tony T. joined them to turn the table on Barbara. He joined in on slapping the gals and began throat fucking them but of the two, I thought Christie was the better of the two for her energy and enthusiasm. There was a lot of slobbering and spitting before both gals did anal with his cock, each assisting the other during the sexual penetration parts of the scene. The dirty talk, choking, ATM, and other tricks all ended up making the scene seem like barely constrained chaos; working to create a spontaneous scene with substantial replay and stroke value. It ended when Christie took the facial, sharing the load with Barbara back and forth. Whew!

Scene Two: Renee Richards, a brunette from England with a gal next door look, was up next as she took on Joel Lawrence in the standard living room set up. He has never been able to convey a sense of power when trying to dominate a gal so the thematic element here suffered slightly as a result but she provided the kind of blowjob most men like to see with lots of streamers, ball sucking, and no-teeth action as her make up was made to run down her face. His pasty white skin contrasted nicely with her tan and the two actually seemed to be really fighting a few times as he planked her energetically in several positions. The introduction of Ariana Jollee wearing a strap on dildo to continue the oral was interesting as was the dirty talk but he popped a nut on her face all too soon and that limited the appeal of the scene for me a lot.

Scene Four: Jennifer Luv, a major cutie that I haven't seen much of in porn lately, had little time to tease the camera before scene partner Tony T. was shoving his dick inside her mouth. The spitting, dirty talk and slapping seemed less suited for her, just as the gag reflex action didn't do it for me. If you like messy blowjobs, choking, and scenes where the gal seemed ill at ease most of the time though, this will be inspiring for you but it was another oral only scene and I wanted much more from her than a facial. Still, it did bring out a whole new side to her for me, even if not my favorite side to see.

Scene Five: Nadia Styles, a lean and all natural brunette, barely had time to introduce herself when Tony T. was throatfucking her deeply. At first I thought it would be another "abuse the slut" blowjob but he didn't get much oral before she was begging him to fuck her in the ass. He hammered away at her backside like he was trying to tear her a new hole, alternating with the oral for lots of ATM action. She was passive during the actual ride but he did her anally in several positions before rubbing out a load to her face (including what seemed to be a mandatory eye shot since he did it so often). The replay value of the scene was minimal but it had some initial stroke value.

He finished up by popping a small nut on her face.

Scene Seven: Alicia Angel, one of the cutest gals of the movie in terms of fresh looks and all natural body, was up next with Steve Holmes in the living room. She's far too lean for my tastes but I know a lot of you like her specifically for this and her ability to passively take an oral banging as she did between him and director Tony T., who joined them late. She alternated between the two men, sucking them off like a seasoned performer, when I thought the scene was going to be another oral only effort. This changed when she stood up and demanded they fuck her in the ass, with each guy alternating between her holes as they slapped, choked, and otherwise abused her. There was a short DP with taste testing (PTM and ATM) but the emphasis was always on oral (and abuse); her strength to begin with. The scene ended when she took the two loads into her mouth, smiling as the camera faded away.

Scene Eight: Roxy Jezel, arguably the biggest name of any female in the movie, was up last in the limited set where she sucked off both Brian Surewood and Steve Holmes. She looked substantially different here, perhaps due to her make up, but her oral skills were just as top notch as they've always been so I knew the scene would be a good one. The abuse aspects of the movie were continued and she took the dick in her pussy and ass as well as her mouth, with an active DP on her part being the highlight of the show. She truly appeared to be pushing her limits at times, even to the point of nearly passing out, but fans probably know that she is capable of doing anything and making it look good so they won't be disappointed her either. She swallowed their loads and provided a very solid ending to the movie.

Summary: Sore Throat started off very strongly and finished that way too with some decent scenes in between. The technical values needed some minor polishing up but fans of rough sex and hardcore oral will consider this a must have DVD while the rest of us will probably be more apt to think of it as a Rent It. For me, the point of a porno is to provide strokable sex scenes and solid entertainment and whatever else can be said of the ladies in the business, few seem to look like they're having a good time when being slapped, dumped on, or treated like shit. Still, the raw energy was powerful more often than not so if you enjoy this kind of thing, consider it akin to taking a Diabolic/Anabolic release and pumping it up on steroids. Given the increasingly edgy state of gonzo porn, I predict company owner Ron E. will be rolling in dough soon if he can keep providing porn as edgy as this one was.
