Audio/Video Quality: Billy Glide's XXX Adventures 1 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Billy Glide for release by Maximum Xposure. The movie looked a lot like a lower budget version of Shane's World. The technical values varied far more than I usually care for but the action (non-sexual action) outside looked pretty solid for the most part. The sex was typically shot with poor lighting and grain problems but was fun nonetheless, something I had yet to see on a Maximum Xposure DVD to this point. I'm glad I hung in with them since this was a quantum leap above the other two titles but there were numerous times the picture went out of focus or bounced around to come off as an amateur video. The stereo English audio was slightly below average with the microphone not capturing the vocals all that consistently.

Body of Review: In the last few days, I watched some really good porn and then there were the titles from Maximum Xposure. They looked terrible and I was ready to give up on the company even though a few friends suggested I might like other titles by them. Well, I lucked into a title that had some actual promise in terms of appearing like fun even if the technical matters still weren't up to par in my book. The name of the DVD was Billy Glide's XXX Adventures 1: Ski Bunnies & Slope Sluts. Much like the more recent volumes of Shane's World, the show had Billy Glide and friends all enjoying a weekend on the slopes as they screwed and played outside until they couldn't take any more. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that people opposed to drug use might want to skip the title given the inebriated state of the cast much of the time:

Scene One: Nadia Styles, Katie Gold, Billy Glide, and Cheyne Collins, were up first in what started off as a simple blowjob in the kitchen. The gals appeared to be drunk and slobbed Billy's knob, leaving streamers and going at each other (kissing) before Cheyne came in and the quartet paired off. The sex was basic with the oral and vaginal but it had some element of fun too. The others didn't seem to pay them any attention either so it was kind of interesting.

Scene Two: Katie Gold, still all horned up and under the influence, was up next with Cheyne Collins on the stairs after that as well. The camera wandered a lot during the shooting of the scenes and the scene either ended off camera or the camera man left for greener pastures.

Summary: Billy Glide's XXX Adventures 1 was a Rent It in my book for the way it offered a second tier cast having some interesting, non-scripted, times with one another while on a virtual vacation. Rather than rely on a heavily scripted set of scenes as most porn seems to do these days, Billy and crew seemed to just go with the flow; a fact that elevated it above the usual dreck I've seen trying to imitate the Shane's World concept. Perhaps my faith in Maximum Xposure could be restored if this series was polished up a bit and the cast improved to a higher level. See?!? This is why I keep at it; finding a diamond in the (very) rough, worthy of attention that might prove even good one day.
