Hustler’s Barely Legal 116 is really more of the same, but if nothing else it gets the ‘young horny girl’ part right and for most of us, this reviewer included, that’s what matters most. There’s no story here, no real set up, just five young ladies ready to get fucked with Otto Bauer behind the camera to show you how it all goes down. Here’s a look:

Barely Legal 116 looks good in this 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer though quality does very a bit from scene to scene – in fact, parts of it looks to have been shot intentionally soft. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction looks okay even if and skin tones are way too orange. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this DVD release is a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either.

Extras:

The only really substantial extra on this release is a Behind The Scenes (12:58) featurette. It starts by giving us a backstage look at few of the scenes before and after they’re shot and we get some more casual glimpses of Miya, Bethany and Nicki playing around a bit outside of the footage we see in the feature. Aside from that, there's also a quick, five minute documentary that gives a very brief history of the infamous Barely Legal series of movies entitled Barely Legal: How It All Began, which has been included on all of the recent releases in the line.

Final Thoughts:

Hustler knows there’s a built in audience for the Barely Legal series and it’s to that audience that this release will appear. It’s not the best of the series but it’s definitely a solid entry worth seeing for the gorgeous Bethany Benz alone. Well shot and plenty steamy, for fans of younger girls getting it on, Barely Legal 116 comes recommended.
