Extra's: The best extra was easily the 13 minute Behind the Scenes feature. It was clearly shot by at least two directors (Jake Malone having the more immediately recognizable voice) and surprisingly offered up some footage of Jamie barfing a few times (totally gross but rare in a title shot at PXP). There was also some interview footage, some nudity, and a few anecdotes but it had shock value too. There was a pop shot recap from the scenes, a photogallery, and a second side to the DVD cover (albeit one with covers only).

Audio/Video Quality: T&A Buffet was presented in the original 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by Jake Malone, David Luger, and Martin Del Toro for release by Platinum X Pictures. The lighting on the scenes was generally decent, limiting the grain, video noise, and other problems associated with the element but it wasn't the best work any of them had done either. The composition of the camera angles varied; at times making the ladies look their best and at other times doing a poor job, perhaps something that editing missed. In any case, I can see why no one wanted directing credit for the movie as a whole as it comes across as a collection of discarded scenes shot for various other releases that ended up together by default (not what I've come to expect from PXP). The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with no separation and limited dynamic range to speak of. I could hear most of the vocals (including those off camera that probably weren't supposed to be heard) but audio was not a major consideration in this one (IMHO).

Body of Review: Jake Malone, David Luger, and Martin Del Toro all worked for Platinum X Pictures a number of times as directors, making some very heated porn over the last few years. Each of them has moved on to other pursuits from what I've seen, Jake landing a spot at the vaunted Evil Angel in the process. Well, before the men left, they each left a number of scenes to unfinished projects, these scenes being compiled recently in uncredited form under various titles. The latest to make it to me was T&A Buffet, sporting a great cover and some pretty good work too. The four scenes were all gonzo with some fetish, tease, and numerous sex acts but they were not consistently hot. If you're still interested, here's a brief glimpse into the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Velicity Von, the hotty on the front DVD cover, and equally appealing Isabel Ice, were up first as they laid out by the pool on a perfect day wearing fetish attire (including fishnets, ball gags, and collars). Jake was directing them as they played with each other, acting rough and enjoying the action enough to demand harder antics. Once they were thoroughly warmed up, they walked inside (arm in arm at that) to meet Benjamin Bratt on the couch. Summary: T&A Buffet by Jake Malone, David Luger, and Martin Del Toro for release by Platinum X Pictures was a Rent It for me due to the mixed quality of the scenes. A few of them were quite solid, providing superior heat and action, while others languished in the pits of porn; showing that whoever selected them for this release probably wanted to balance out the good with the bad. In short, while T&A Buffet had some good stroke material, it never made the higher rankings for numerous reasons, marking it as okay but nothing more.
