Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color and looked a bit weaker than usual here. The lighting was not optimal most of the time and that caused the show to have too much grain and too many problems with color saturation. The English stereo audio was fairly clear with few problems. The DVD transfer was pretty solid with no compression artifacts noticed when I watched it.

Body of Review: Hustler is known for giving fans what they want and has been since it pushed the boundaries of adult entertainment with it's magazine so many years ago. These days, dvd is the medium by which Mr. Flynt provides us with our fix of attractive young ladies and one of his premiere series' newest titles is Barely Legal 40. The show provides 5 scenes of young women who have sex for your personal pleasure and each of them looked to be 18 (or very close to it). If you like them young and ready, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that all scenes were oral and straight only:

Scene One: Lunchtime Licking: Jamie, a lean little blonde, and Mason, had a scene after he caught her in a wooded area near a bench masturbating. She has those girl-next-door looks that a lot of men like and he was okay too. He popped off a bit quickly and therefore she missed most of his jizz but she licked him afterwards. It was okay for a newbie scene with oral and straight sex only.

Scene Two: Dani's Delight: Dani, a cute redhead, and Benjamin, had a scene on her big comfy bed after she warmed up a bit by playing with herself. She was energetic and seemed to have a good time bouncing on his lap before taking his facial load. Warm.

Scene Three: Contractor Cunt: Cytheria, the lean little hotty with the beautiful face, and Mark, had a scene on her bed. She was as fun to watch as always, taking him on like a demon, and both had a lot of fun. She squirted all over the bed while he was doing her (I'm on the fence about whether or not squirting is the same thing as taking a piss) and it ended with a facial. Yum!

Scene Four: I'm With The Band: Mallory, a lean little go-getter with dark hair, took on Steven on a stage. She had some very enthusiastic oral skills and sweat a lot while the two went at it (he was covered with a sheen of sweat too). The sex wasn't as warm as the oral here but it was okay.

Scene Five: A Tart For The Part: Betty and Pixie, a couple of lean gals with interesting faces, did each other on an office desk. I think they enjoyed one another a lot but the camera work didn't translate it all that well for the viewer. Some of the problem was the lighting while another problem was the amount of close-up work. If you really like lesbian sex, you may appreciate it a bit.

Summary: This wasn't as good as Volume 38 but I think fans of the ladies here will like it a whole lot. I'm going to rate it as Rent It based on the sex and technical values although a few scenes were worth getting put on a "best of" compilation in the future. The women looked like they were in their late teens to early twenties and that's what most fans of the series are looking for.
