Audio/Video Quality: I Heart (Love) Jasmine Byrne was presented in the usual 1.33: ratio full frame color as the scenes were shot by a variety of directors for a number of titles by New Sensations. The quality of the scenes varied more than a little bit as some were very appealing while others were in need of better attention to detail but I still felt that the overall compilation was handled fairly well and focused on the cutie in question quite nicely. The series has really sold well according to the company president and fans that have passed up on projects in the past (because they would only have a single scene of the object of their lustful desires) seem to find them really solid in terms of value so the minor technical matters aren't as big a factor here. The fleshtones were accurate, the lighting usually good, and the composition of the shots typically good enough to enhance the look of the ladies. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, with little separation and limited dynamic range but at least the music was not as lame as it could have been in most cases (exceptions noted below).

Body of Review: Compilation series are still pretty new to companies like New Sensations so it's no wonder that they are still working the formula a bit to get things just right, providing fans with enough material to coax their money out of their wallets but also leaving enough behind for follow up volumes too. Such was the case with the double disc set of I Heart (Love) Jasmine Byrne; the most recent title in the series to make it my way. For those that are unfamiliar with the lady, she's the sultry Latina on the front cover that had a slow start in porn but soon found her edge to become quite a force in adult entertainment. She was recently cast in the leading role of a spin off series parody to become "J-Ho" the Jennifer Lopez porn clone but due to a very specific circumstance that I'm not allowed to tell, she was dumped in favor of another. Still, as a free agent, she has tremendous appeal and I think she has provided more strokable material well past the curve where her peers are pushed aside in favor of younger, newer performers so I suspect that she'll be giving us heated performances for years to come. There is not a doubt in my mind that she has the right stuff to become a star instead of just a really solid performer but that will take a lot of dedication on her part so as I continue to appreciate her work for others, I Heart (Love) Jasmine Byrne will serve as a title worthy of being Recommended thanks to the double disc amounts of fuck for the buck. I wish the second disc had been more filled with scenes and had sweet extras but I guess the overall impression I got was favorable and nearly enough for me to elevate the rating a notch (except it had nothing uniquely available in terms of scenes or extras as the Private series tend to do).
