THE SEX

Here's a fun new series from the folks at Hustler that puts a twist on the "reality porn" genre that other adult studios have been doing for years. Instead of just taking a camera out at various places in the United States to have sexual encounters (ala the Shane's World series), why not up the ante and have sex on or near some of America's most historical landmarks? That's the brilliant idea that director Dave Road came up with for his Adventure Sex titles, and he hasn't been thrown in jail yet, so hopefully we'll see many more of these sexual road trips in the future.

For those of you that missed Vols. 1 and 2 of this series, the first cross-country trip covered locations like the Hollywood sign, the Grand Canyon, the St. Louis Arch, Woodstock, and Plymouth Rock. For Adventure Sex 3 (which covers the first half of the trip…Adventure Sex 4 will conclude the journey), Road takes a different route across the U.S., beginning in Neah Bay, Washington – which is the northwestern most point of the 48 contiguous states. Joined by a redheaded cutie named Georgia Southe, and a couple of porn studs named Jack Spade and Woody Viking, the first scene in this volume takes place in Neah Bay, as Georgia and Jack have a "quickie" while Dave films the action.

The next location is a little more of a challenge, as the gang tries to film a sexual scene atop the historic Space Needle in Seattle. On the first trip up, a security guard admonishes them for acting a little too sexual in a public place…so they decide to come back during evening hours shortly before closing. The resulting shots are a little darker and dimmer than one likes to see in their porno, but damn if these guys don't pull it off…as Georgia and Woody have some fun on the observation deck.

No historic location is sacred for these guys, as they next tackle Yellowstone Park, then move on to Devil's Tower…which is sacred Indian ground, but is probably more notable for being the location for the climax of Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters Of The Third Kind.

Just at the point in Adventure Sex 3 when I was beginning to fall in love with Georgia and wishing I could find a woman as hot and open-minded as she appears to be…she's called back home when she receives a phone call that her beloved pooch has run away from home. Suddenly without a female performer, Dave Road has to call in the cavalry…in the form of sexy blonde Becca Brat.

Becca's first scene is with Jack Spade at a location known as "Carhenge"...which is basically Stonehenge made from old cars. But Becca really lights up the screen when the gang finds themselves in Tulsa, Oklahoma and she gets into a three-way with Jack and Woody Viking in front of a large oil man statue that's in the town.

The climax (quite literally!) of Vol. 3 takes place in Dallas, Texas, as our travelers meet up with two more hot babes named Mikenzy Paris and Tyler Houston, who get into a foursome with Jack and Woody in the back of their rented RV. Then it's the sex scene to end all sex scenes as Becca bends over for some standing doggy right behind the infamous fence on the grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza where so many conspiracy theorists claim that the shots that really killed John F. Kennedy came from.

VIDEO/AUDIO

Considering the footage here is shot primarily on a home video camera, both the video and audio quality are quite good for an adult DVD. The picture is, for the most part, sharp and clear; and the audio is presented in 2.0 Dolby.

THE EXTRAS

One of the cool extras here is that the package includes a CD of all the songs you'll hear in the background of Adventure Sex 3. There's no "name" performers here, of course, but the songs aren't that bad and worth the time to take a listen to in your CD player when you're done watching the main title.

The extras on the DVD include a nice behind the scenes segment, which includes some very hot deleted footage of Georgia giving a blowjob and having sex on the plane of a major airline (I won't embarrass the airline by mentioning their name…but anyone who's flown them before won't have a hard time making out who they are!). The featurette also contains some stuff Dave Road shot when Adventure Sex 2 was released to the public, as well as the trailers for all three volumes of this series.

Rounding out the bonus material are six trailers for other Hustler titles; a slide show; and some promotional ads for the Hustler website and chain of Hustler Hollywood stores.

BRIAN'S BOTTOM LINE

There are very few porn movies these days that I would want to watch twice…and even fewer that I would want to purchase for my permanent collection. Adventure Sex 3 fits both bills, and I can't recommend it more highly. It's like the home movies you wish people would show you when they came back from vacation…well, assuming you have neighbors as hot-looking as Georgia Southe and Becca Brat!
