Extra's: I know most of you will appreciate the two bonus scenes I described below from Delilah and Melt more than anything else; each lasting under 14 minutes but providing some extra value for the money all the same. I described them below but I like new extras that are geared towards the release in hand so I enjoyed the 22:47 minute long Behind the Scene feature by Mark Stone (edited by Alex Sanders!) more but I prefer unique extras in my movies more than most. There was more sex, nudity, and short interviews as Mark meandered around the sets of the flick, talking with cast and crew, spending a lot of time getting the inside scoop from director Brad and screenwriter Jessica. At the end of it, there were a series of bloopers and outtakes that rounded out the 31:35 minute session; most of them appearing to have been made as Easter Eggs and then placed here instead at the last minute. I enjoyed the 5:20 minute long Box Cover shoot too, though it was weird in how it provided the photoshoot material in boxes on the left side of the screen while Julia gave an interview. There were also the usual photogalleries (3) and 3 Star Stats, the 2007 Promotional Reel, spam, DVD Catalog of Wicked Pictures titles, the usual DVD ROM material, and trailers to movies likeMobster's Ball, Manhunters, Fuck, House Sitter, Taken, and others. There was also the usual double sided DVD cover and slipcase for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: Love Always was presented in an appealing 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Brad Armstrong for Wicked Pictures. While filmed in high definition, it was down converted to a regular DVD (in the future, the HD version should look even better), so there was some minor grain in some of the scenes where lighting was minimized as part of the scene. The good news is that even in the dark night scenes, the visual elements were well handled, providing a lot more quality than most studios are capable of handling these days. The video noise was minimal and the composition of the scenes was extremely well taken care of, enhancing the look of the ladies in nearly all cases. The audio was presented with two choices, the primary one being a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track that balanced the vocals and music nicely. There was also a 2.0 Dolby Digital track in Spanish available for those who care but the fact is that the dubbing seemed humorous to me. Otherwise, the audio seemed to be another step in the right direction for Wicked Pictures, even though the vocals were almost certainly recorded in monaural or dubbed in later (not to mention limited in scope). Still, the music was well done and the overall quality of the audio was slightly better than average as well (a lot better in a few scenes and dialogue portions)

Body of Review: Brad Armstrong is currently the top director at Wicked Pictures; given the biggest budgets (soon to change with Desert Stormy) and the wealth of resources needed to craft smaller features better than you will find elsewhere too. His latest drama was written by hotty Jessica Drake (who also served as co-director too), called Love Always. The movie was a story about love and fidelity, using Jessica as the hotty mistress to Randy Spears where his wife (Julia Ann) was long on the outs with him. It wasn't a very deep movie, so those looking for lots of twists and turns might consider something else by the company, but it definitely proved the acting versatility of the three leads nicely enough. The cover said it like this: "Michael Ryan (Randy Spears) is a busy executive whose fast-paced life comes to a screeching halt one afternoon while jogging. In the blink of an eye, an unexpected heart attack causes two distinctly different aspects of his world to collide as his wife Diane (Julia Ann) comes face to face with his long term mistress (Jessica Drake). Now the two women must come to terns with the affair and find common ground in their struggle to accept each other. As Michael slowly recovers he must face the consequences of his actions and ultimately decide who he will choose. But sometimes life has a way of making the decision for us." If you're looking for a drama that will appeal to couples more than raincoaters, this might be a great choice to check out with your significant other. That said, here's a brief glimpse into the sex scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used in each scene:

Scene One: Jessica Drake, the sexy gal seen on the right hand side of the front cover, and talented actor Randy Spears, were up first as he helped soap her bath during a bath. She invited him to continue, leading to him joining her in the tub where she sucked his cock seductively as he sat on the edge of the bathtub. Her suds covered form looked particularly inviting and the way she kissed him playfully was a nice touch to show they had something going on deeper than a porn-like screw; catering to the plot elements more than usual. He took her from behind in a doggy screw after putting on a condom, Jessica actively riding him from top as well before taking his load of population pudding to her face. This was a fine example of how a porn scene could convey emotion and some other plot points (I don't want to spoil it for you) while giving up a scene worthy of your seed. Yum!

Scene Two: Julia Ann, the busty hotty seen on the left hand side of the cover, was up next as she crawled along the kitchen table at night to get to her husband Randy Spears in his dream. Ever the seductress, Julia went right for the pole in her mouth as she satisfied her craving for man gravy, jerking him off as she inhaled the meat pipe in heated fashion while gyrating in her black satin nightie. He fingered her and started drilling her cookie, Julia actively participating to assist with her own needs in the candlelit scene before he rubbed out a load to her ample chest. It was not as hot as the previous scene for me but it was a nicely handled scene all the same.

Scene Three: Penny Flame, playing a nagging friend to Jessica for a change, was up next with muscular Marcus London in bed. He was going down on her and unlike the rest of the scenes in the movie, seemed to be something of a toss in for variety's sake more than anything used to push forward the story elements. Penny is a cutie though and I'm not complaining, just wondering why the scene was tossed in so casually where it really didn't fit. He fingered her and she seemed to enjoy it a lot, reciprocating by blowing him enthusiastically as she bobbed and slobbed on his knob. Her ass looked particularly inviting as she did this, though I might never understand why he was having wood problems when they switched positions. Eventually, he started banging away at her cookie, spending most of his time doing her in missionary before spooning and doggy were employed to see if those might work better for him. The condom came off for the facial but this scene dragged down the sexual heat of the rest of the movie because they had no chemistry and she seemed wasted on Marcus (who is usually a lot better in his scenes).

Scene Four: Julia Ann, having found out about her cheating husband by now, consoled herself with memories of a tryst she had in bed with rocker/gardener Barrett Blade. He really didn't seem her character's type but the scrungy guy could have appealed to her need to hang with the bad boys, the man orally fixated on her body giving her a few reasons to embrace that idea as well. Her blowjob slowed down the tempo of the scene at first but she steadily brought him around using her hand and mouth so caringly that it made the scene better as a result. His screwing lacked much rhythm but it was a believable bout of boning where he ended it gracing her face with a healthy wad.

Scene Five: Jessica Drake, in a flashback sequence where she wore a white top and tight black pants, showed her history with Randy Spears until she eventually met him at the door with a warm embrace. The bit was truncated but served the plot well until she dreamed of a wedding night screw with the guy, both in full wedding regalia as he spent considerable time going down on her in a fantasy sequence at night. The music was interesting to me, as it had been in about half the scenes in fact, but her oral was again the kind that conveyed a lot more caring then words alone ever could; livening things up as a result. The vaginal screwing continued that idea, Jessica even fingering her perfect pucker as she bounced on his lap so aggressively. This was another scene I wish had offered up an extended sequence in the bonus section of the disc but more than just fans will appreciate how sexy she was here and how the elements played it up really well.

Scene Six: Jessica Drake and Julia Ann, trying to come to terms with their feelings about Randy, were up last as they met at the door to talk things through. Julia made the first move but it was reciprocated quickly, the gals kissing and feeling each other up in their contemporary clothing. They greedily ate each other out and fingered to the delight of each other, their 69 looking really good on the floor of the hallway where Julia came in. In the end, it seemed as though Julia took the dominant role between the two; her MILFish body in stark contrast to Jessica's extra lean mistress shaped figure.

Bonus Scene 1: Delilah: Jessica Drake, the female lead of the show as a hairdresser with that special touch, was up next with Hershel Savage after they met at her work and continued the relationship well into the night after dinner. She practically tore his clothing off in the cavernous room, savoring the taste of his body and cock before he reciprocated by snacking on her crack to her delight. They boned with his dick in her cookie and her fingers stretching her ass, moving into a frantic little fuck that resulted in her heated little moans coaxing out a wad of population pudding from him to grace her face. Bonus Scene: Melt: Julia Ann, the contract MILF from the front cover, was up first with Randy Spears in bed as the couple enjoyed each other in the buff. She slowly slobbed his knob as if savoring the taste of his pecker, crouched between his legs as sunlight poured through the window, and he made little noises as she jerked him off into her mouth. He nearly lost it as she did so but managed to hold out for a few positions of vaginal sex where she actively participated (to a degree, it wasn't her best work). It looked more natural than most porn and ended when she gave him more head with a handjob capper into her mouth. While it wasn't the most varied of her recent scenes, the pair did have some nice chemistry going for themselves that lent it some replay value.

Summary: Love Always by director Brad Armstrong for Wicked Pictures promoted the company once again as providing some of the finest dramatic elements in porn (an admittedly low bar most of the time but I see precious few mainstream movies offering decent acting as well as heated sex these days). The sex scenes were almost all solid, if shorter than I prefer, with fans of Julia Ann and Jessica Drake really getting a lot to love here. The overall quality of the production warranted a rating of Recommended or better depending on what you're looking for in a feature porno. In short, Brad did his usual fine job of directing the cast and proving that Love Always could serve as the latest vehicle for the three leads of the movie to strut their collective stuff really well. Good job!
