Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.85:1 ratio widescreen color. For the most part, it looked like an experimental art film done up like a reality TV show with all the grain and weird camera angles that would accompany such a project. The audio was in 5.1 Dolby Digital but most of the time, the channels didn't show a lot of separation between them.

Body of Review: Robby D. is known, primarily from his movie making days at Vivid, for his weird low-budget releases. Nowadays, he's allowed to make bigger budget movies like Sinful Creations but he still seems to have an urge to experiment with his camera. In his latest release, Jack's Playground, Robby attempts to make a comedy porno with mixed results. The story is about a guy that wants to score with babes by acting like he's making music videos. In the course of the show, he gets it on with, and gets to watch, a number of attractive gals having sex. Most of the time, the sex was fairly generic but I have to admire the courage it took to include two separate solo scenes, including one with the featured cover girl, since a lot of people will be unhappy that she didn't have actual sex in the movie. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that the sex was somewhat tame compared to most gonzo stuff on the market (which this otherwise resembled):

Scene One: Dani, a little cutie who's on the front dvd cover (in the middle), took on Eric, on a couch. She seemed very inexperienced but had fun nonetheless. Like most of the sex in this movie, the action was oral and straight only. Not bad.

Scene Two: Katja, the hotty from Europe, and old man Viagra himself, Tyce, had a scene on a bed. She did anal here and the scene was very well done with lots of energy and heat. Fans of circus act sex will love that she also did ass to mouth sex (yuck!). She's the one in the background of the front dvd cover.

Scene Three: Loni, a tiny Philippino gal, and Eric, had a scene in the bedroom. She seemed talented in oral pleasuring and energetic in bed but nothing as good as Katja had been in the previous scene.

Scene Four: Justine, a cute redhead wearing fishnet stockings, had a short solo scene here where she masturbated for the camera. It was pretty solid for the limitations it presented.

Scene Five: Penny, the cutie on the front cover wearing the red shirt and tiny short shorts, had a solo scene of her own on a couch. Yum!

Scene Six: Lana, a gal with blonde highlights and little experience having porno sex, and Barrett, had a scene on a couch that ended with a facial. This scene didn't do anything for me at all. It's not that they didn't try but there was nothing I found interesting about it.

Summary: I liked the movie enough to suggest you Rent It but there was an awful lot of non-sex stuff going on that appeared to be attempts at humor. My opinion of humor is that it's a very risky business in a porno and in this case, didn't hit the mark nearly as often as it should have. I liked the overall movie but most people will probably think Robby should stick with the sex scenes and leave the comedy to directors like Jonathan Morgan at Wicked. I like Robby's works, look at my review for Sinful Creations to see what I mean, but this one wasn't up to snuff.
