Extras: The best extra by most standards would be the bonus sex scene from Gossip starring Carmen Hart and Jenner. It was set inside a bed and only lasted about 15 minutes but it was fun to watch. I also liked the 15 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by David "Crawdaddy" Crawford for all the fun it offered (the cast seemed to be having a great time as they kidded around the set) but it also had the cast posing during photoshoots and having extra hardcore sex in between the interviews; though the emphasis was clearly on Carmen and Kirsten (the two contract performers). The 3.5 minute long Bloopers Reel was cute with lots of goofed lines, especially by Carmen and Evan. There were a number of photogalleries and star statistics, a true double sided DVD cover and a cardboard slipcover for the DVD case, two promotional reels (one from the 2005 AEE show and the other from 2006), DVD ROM materials like Wicked Awards and Nominations, company profile, casino game, and desktops, a DVD catalog, some spam, and trailers to shows like Sold, All About Keri, Eternity, Camp Cuddly Pines, Secrets of the Velvet Rings, Road Trixxx 3, and others.

Audio/Video Quality: Becoming Carmen Hart was presented in anamorphic widescreen color with an approximate aspect ratio of 1.85:1 as originally shot by director Michael Raven for Wicked Pictures. Michael used various lighting effects to achieve his artistic vision. The colors were accurate, the grain was less than usual, and the composition of the shots tended to be quite favorable to the cast. There were no compression artifacts or video noise that I saw and the visuals seemed just fine overall. The audio was presented with a choice of either a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English, a 2.0 DD German track or a 2.0 DD Spanish track (the dubbed tracks were considerably worse than those for the anime I review in case you're wondering). I listened to the English track and while I didn't hear any appreciable separation on the audio, it was nicely put together otherwise. Fans of subtitles will appreciate the Greek version added in, though I've never understood why unless Wicked is particularly effectively marketed in Greece. Still, as limited the audio was in this low budget feature, it was handled pretty well overall.

Body of Review: The Visitors marked director Michael Raven's big hit of the year in terms of his porn career but he has successfully brought some other fine titles to the small screen as well. His latest is Becoming Carmen Hart, a little showcase for the contract cutie that put her on display as quite the up and comer to the next generation of porn fans. An all natural body, sexy accent, and a lack of hundreds of gonzo splooged-fests where she's been worn out, all contribute to her appeal so I think the bets made by the folks at Wicked Pictures have been well placed, even if the small budget feature market seems to be a lot smaller than it used to be. Still, couples will likely find this one appealing as will Carmen's legion of devoted fans, for the humor as well as the sex. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and actions, noting that two of the scenes were blowjobs only and condoms were used in all the penetrative sex:

Scene One: Carmen Hart, the hotty on the front DVD cover, was up first as she made out with bleach blonde Eric Masterson in her wedding dress in front of the fire place with a bunch of moving boxes laying around the floor beside them. She was wearing glassing and looking very cute as they kissed and otherwise seemed into the moment as the light music played on around them. Scene Four: Tiffany Rayne, the gorgeous hotty that internet rumors have been running rampant about (thankfully proving to be untrue), was up next on the bed of a porn set with Manuel Ferrara as Carmen watched. The camera framing and colors were a bit off here, as though director of photography Francois was purposely trying to make it look crappy. Morgan's continual coaxing was so over the top (using many of his standard lines about the dick not sucking itself, his balls containing oxygen, and the squirrel with a nut) as to be hilarious but I admit that I wanted to see more of Tiffany and hear her screams of pleasure than his rants in a southern drawl. In terms of raw sexuality, she was the best and most blatantly vocal lady of the cast; a wise selection for the scene in question even as she took the anal. In all, I liked the scene a lot even if the extraneous matters could've been truncated a bit to make it better. Tiffany and Manuel are great together no matter what they do, though she was better in his movie, Evilution.

Scene Five: Taylor Hilton, a really cute gal that looked better than the infamous heiress, and Barrett Blade were up next on a set where she gave him a blowjob. Initially, it was done in POV style but Carmen picked up the camera to assist and showed that Taylor was a decent cocksucker with solid potential. I'm not a big fan of oral-only scenes but I'll admit that I wouldn't turn her away if she wanted to suck my dick (all two inches of it). The pop shot was almost nonexistent and I hope to see more of her in the future.

Scene Six: Carmen Hart, again looking much like a younger, hotter, Devinn Lane, advanced her career as a last minute replacement in a scene with Evan Stone. While I'd like the contract cuties to have lengthier scenes, I can't deny their physical appeal in their scenes either so the balance always depends on how much they like working with a particular partner as to the level of heat. If anything, I'd say that she was turned on by Evan more than anyone she's worked with in a while and that added in enough heat to elevate the movie as a whole to the next level. Her oral was as active as ever, ball sucking included, and she aggressively rode his cock very well here too. It wasn't as active as Tiffany's ride but she displayed the gold here and the hip grinded was splendid. It ended with a larger facial and some post coital sucking, marking it as another solid scene.

The ladies all looked good here, some were particularly appealing in their scenes (Carmen and Tiffany Rayne doing the best job by a wide margin), and the technical matters were all good at enhancing what was shown on the screen. I thought the DVD was worthy of being Recommended; marking another solid release by director Michael Raven, even if not on the same scale as his recent hit. In short, Becoming Carmen Hart was most becoming of the leading lady and another notch on her belt of heated titles that fans should give the nod to, proving that she has more going for her than mere beauty alone.
