Extra's: Most people will enjoy the two bonus scenes that featured Kaylani Lei more than anything else; her scene with Evan Stone from One Night In Vegas and her scene with Brad Armstrong from Eye of the Beholder. Each was well done and if you haven't seen these scenes, you can't call yourself a true fan of Kaylani Lei in my book. Personally, I enjoyed the 17.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature (called "Take 5 with the Cast") the most, even if the exposition of the cast seemed a bit off at times (with Kaylani referring to the director by a different name). Still, as a fan of the cast, it had some fun times to enjoy; nicely complimenting the movie. There was also a number of photogalleries, Star Stats, trailers, Wicked DVD catalog, Wicked Casino computer game, Award Winners section, promotional reels, all the usual extras of a Wicked Pictures release, spam, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Shameless was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen color with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. The picture looked visually stunning in most cases, using shadows better than many contemporary directors, as well as some exceptional camera work. The colors were very accurate, the amount of grain very low, and no video noise worth mentioning. There were no compression artifacts and I had to admit that my initial concerns about director Toni English were allayed in short order. The 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround track was limited in that the vocals were edited out in favor of a music track, something I've never really been into. I've long established that vocals can help establish a bond or link between the partners in a sex scene so stripping them out weakens the work in almost all cases. Otherwise, there was little separation between the channels and the dynamic range didn't impress me.

Body of Review: If there's a bigger fan of Wicked Pictures out there than myself, I'm unaware of their existence. The company came out of nowhere ten years ago to become the monolithic king of feature porn; often winning tons of awards with their stunning array of contract performers and extremely talented directors. In the last year or so, the company has spent more time on compilations and experimented more heavily with vignettes but they still seem to rule much of porn, making larger companies look weak by comparison. Today's review is on a little vignette driven show that was made for the couples market, Shameless, starring the gorgeous Kaylani Lei. Personally, I'm a bigger fan of their other contract stars (from Jenna Jameson and Serenity in years past to more recently with Julia Ann and Stormy Daniels) and haven't ever appreciated Kaylani as much as some but this seemed to be a turning point for me in the sense that she looked very hot in her two scenes. With no plot, six scenes, and some decent extras, here's a look at the scenes to help you decide if this would be good for you:

Scene One: Kaylani Lei, the hotty on the front DVD cover, wore a sheer red dress and matching T-back as she teased Randy Spears beside a hot tub outside at night. He was naked and the two sensually kissed before he bent her over to give her some oral loving. This is where I point out that such scenes at most other companies would be grainy and look like crap but director Toni English, using a Wicked Pictures budget, made it work in spades. I didn't like the lack of a vocal track but this is couples porn so the artistic bend is a given. Anyway, she gave him a short, hand assisted blowjob before he impaled her (initially from behind) but she met him stroke for stroke in a couple positions before he jerked off onto her stomach. I liked the scene for the erotic content but wished it lasted much longer, especially since the energy was decent and potential for chemistry so high.

Scene Two: Marie Luv, an attractive black gal in need of a better dentist, hooked up with Sascha at what appeared to be an automotive parts warehouse. They shared some chemistry as they kissed, forcing him to tear off his shirt in a manly manner (cough). She rubbed his crotch and stripped for him with each giving some oral to the other in the poorly lit location (the use of shadows was interesting and sometimes worked better than others throughout the movie). She was vocal about his oral skills (in a good way mind you) but her own oral was far too limited (he was on a forklift and perhaps it was difficult to get to him as she liked). It was a slow screw and he jerked off on her stomach too.

Scene Three: Kaylani Lei, looking good in the fog of a farmstead porch, was taken by cowpoke Evan Stone inside where the two shared a few moments together on the floor. He ate her out before she reciprocated with a far superior blowjob than she gave Randy (that guy gets no respect I tell ya). Lit by the natural light coming through the cracks of the wooden wall (augmented with some fill lights), the scene evoked a time long past even though her blue jean shorts kept the believability to a minimum. She slowly rode him in a few positions before he rubbed out a load on her lovely, all natural, breasts. This was a pleasant scene too but I wanted more from her than something Candida Royalle would use in one of her flicks.

Scene Four: Violet Blue, looking good with long dark hair (with streaks) and a contemporary outfit, started off the scene making out with studly Manuel Ferrara by an abandoned building's pillar outdoors as he slowly built up steam. She seemed to greatly enjoy the switch from the hardcore antics of years past in favor of this slower style and the manner in which he went down on her. Her oral was short and sweet with the boning more frantic than in the other scenes, including some anal for those into such things. She looked trim compared to some of her recent past work and the ending oral with handjob was a good way to milk his load but he took that opportunity from her to jerk off (why this is done is beyond me).

Scene Five: Barbara Summer, a very attractive blonde with nice curves, wore a knit top and plaid skirt as she got busy with black Tyler Knight at night in front of a Hummer. After the usual foreplay employed throughout the flick, he went down on her and she responded by giving one of the best blowjobs of the movie. Once hard, he porked her from behind for a bit and then took her titty fuck to get off; depositing a load onto her tongue. It wasn't a bad scene but something made me feel they wanted to do a lot more, effectively weakening the scene for me.

Scene Six: Nicole Sheridan, the sexy blonde was perched on the stone wall of the pool/hot tub from the earlier scene, dressed in a skimpy black bikini, as she teased real life mate Voodoo in the mid day sun. The two share a bond that is evident to all who watch them and this scene was no different as they playfully went down on one another. They boned in a few positions with some nice camera angles making her look even better before Voodoo pulled out to jerk off on her pussy. It wasn't the most advanced scene I've seen them in but it was still fun to watch a couple of times.

Summary: Shameless was a pleasing porno aimed directly at the couples market that used a fusion of style and beauty to sell itself nicely to me. It wasn't a perfect work but veteran director Toni English finally set to rest the critics who have railed at his works for years (his work at Vivid has long been less than satisfying more often than not). The women looked great, the production values were top notch, and the sexual tension managed to get me to stand up and take notice. Shameless has it all for those who want a passionate movie to share with a loved one and Kaylani Lei really shined in her two scenes. If you want to see circus act sex, look elsewhere but you could do a lot worse than introduce your favorite gal pal to porn using this DVD. As such, I'm rating it as Recommended but watch it and you might like it even more than that.
