Extra's: The only extras were a slide show and a cumshot recap from the scenes. The promised "bonus scene" was actually part of the movie itself and nothing substantially different from any of the other scenes.

Audio/Video Quality: Mind Trip was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen. For the most part, it looked very low budget with lots of grain, video noise, and even some compression artifacts to disturb viewers of all kinds. The composition of the camera shots and colors were almost average but you won't mistake this one for anything even approaching a good movie unless you're blind. The audio was offered up in a choice of either English or Spanish but since the cast didn't speak much, it really didn't make much difference. The music was lame and the audio quality was about as good as the visuals here.

Body of Review: Having seen thousands of pornos over the years, I have a somewhat jaded view of the porn world that puts me in a cynical mood from time to time. Much of this is due to the way the various production companies treat consumers; using false advertising, misleading box covers, and otherwise suckering us far too often out of our hard earned dollars (and yen, pounds, or whatever other type of currency you prefer to spend). Given that most reviews are fairly positive, every now and then you'll come across a review that is of a title you'd really not want to see. Such is the case with Mind Trips, the first movie I've seen from director James Justice or his company, Damaged Productions.

The movie was a series of unrelated vignettes that all had a European cast and similar sexual practices going on. The scenes would typically start with some oral by the gal on the guy(s), progress to vaginal and then anal sex with a double penetration if two men were present (three times if I recall correctly). The cast wasn't anything special, several of whom I've seen looking far better in various Evil Angel or Private releases in the past and the generic nature of this review is designed to accurately reflect the generic nature of the scenes. I'd give a blow by blow description of each of the seven scenes (although the movie credits itself as having six scenes and a bonus scene) but there really wasn't a lot of variety to detail here.

The settings varied slightly, from a living room to a pool to a bed, but even then I was left with a sense of déjà vu after watching each scene since the cookie cutter formula really didn't allow any of the gals to shine, or even seem like they were doing more than collecting a paycheck, in the scenes here. I can't honestly give this DVD anything but a rating of Skip It even though Stacy Silver's scene wasn't bad and Vivienne La Roche's wasn't bad either but each lacked the kind of passion I've seen of them elsewhere. Sadly, this was the case for the entire cast and rather than blather on about the scenes endlessly (as you'll get with a number of other websites), I'd rather just leave it that only true fans of the cast that simply must see them in all their scenes, regardless of quality, will like this one. Maybe other releases from Damaged Productions will be better than this one (at least, I hope so) but I'm not holding my breath if you catch my drift.
