The girls in "Hustler's Real College Girls #19" are apparently all commuter students -- there is no dorm dalliance, no shared showers, no canoodling on the quad or shtupping in the stacks. No one even blows a security guard in his little glass booth. I'm thinking: online college, maybe.

But these girls certainly work hard to reach their goals, which amount, chiefly, to drawing semen from the balls of men of Ph.D. age.

The five scenes herein get an average grade. They may feature hot babes, but the sex is lukewarm, and the writing and acting merely pay lip service to those disciplines.

Scene 1. Smolderingly beautiful brunette Bailey Banks -- a ringer for the cat-eyed, lusted-after actress Olivia Wilde -- is a "second year film student" working in the sunny outdoors on a paper about sex in cinema. Her voiceover narration explains that she has, er,  had very little sexual experience herself, so she has asked a school mate, Todd, to come over to help with her research. Enter big, beefy John West, who mutters a few words of support before fondling the faux-shocked coed's bikini-ed breasts. A few kisses later and her swimsuit is off (revealing a perfect, natural body) and the two get to work on fucking doggy style while standing up. Banks enjoys looking into the camera, almost as much as she seems to like cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, RCG anal and fellatio. She also whispers "Oh, shit!" a lot, visits the "ATM" and happily swallows a mouthful of Wite-Out.

Scene 2. Music major Marie McCray is working at her piano when she decides she needs a break; stepping out onto her luxurious back porch, she spots shirtless gardener Talon sitting there, apparently also on a break. She beckons him over and in about half a bar's time is on her knees and sucking on his thick baton. The pale, pretty strawberry blonde also takes a stab at the uncomfortable standing doggy, then lies more sensibly on her back on a bench for some cunnilingus and humping; at the climax, Talon hits a big note -- right on Marie's sweet face.

Scene 3. Botanist-to-be Capri Cavalli is studying plants along a babbling brook when hiker friend Chris Johnson happens by. A few words are exchanged, then Chris is standing in front of the kneeling brunette (a pretty Canadian with nice teeth and great legs and ass). Unlike camera-aware Bailey Banks, Capri only looks into the eyes of her guy when she's blowing him, which is pleasing to watch. But more of that ridiculous standing doggy sex ensues (she has to lean on one hand to keep from falling to the rocky ground), followed by sideways fucking, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, some more oral and standing sex, until Chris finally pollinates onto Capri's inviting tongue.

Scene 4. The DVD's lone girl-girl scene has traffic-stopping blondes Franziska Facella and Nikki Jayne strutting down the street in short shorts before stepping into their alleged sorority building. Cut to the laundry room, where they decide to take a break from all their chores. The girls take turns going down on each other atop the washer and dryer, and put some dildos to good use. Franziska, an 18-year-old German with no discernible accent, wears braces and has the body of a prepubescent child; despite looking like the prototypical California girl, Nikki is actually a Manchester native, though you don't get a healthy tan like hers in the north of England. Scene 5. Art student Carmella Santiago, a dark, vibrant cutie, is trying to draw nude model Chris Johnson, but she's getting frustrated. "I can't concentrate with you having a hard-on over there," she scolds him. She walks over and slaps his dick, but when that doesn't make it detumesce, she gets down and takes matters into her own mouth. She's very chatty and giggly while sucking, but becomes a passionate screamer when humping -- even when she has to, yes, do the standing doggy. After the requisite sideways, cowgirl and reverse cowgirl (revealing Carmella's very long clit hood), there's a monochromatic splatter onto the artist's tongue.

                                                       THE DVD

Pop the disc into your player and you immediately go to a couple of (very hot) ads for phone sex and Hustler.com, then arrive at the simple but efficient main menu, which offers Play Movie, Chapter Selection, Select a Star and Special Features. Between the live-action menu choices and the 33 chapter cues, you'll have no problem getting around.

The HD picture is very good (presented in 16:9 widescreen), and the sound is adequate. A pleasant, barely noticeably New Age-y piano score hovers in the background throughout. The frequently outdoor action is a nice change from most modern porn.

The extras are solid. Besides a slide show and more phone sex ads, there are trailers for five Hustler titles (you can play them individually or in a loop): "Asian Fever: Tokyo Girls" (shot on location), "Barely Legal: Fitness Fanatics," "Barely Legal: Oral Education 2," "Taboo: Mind Fuck" and "This Ain't The Munsters XXX."

But the best feature is a behind-the-scenes segment in which in an unseen dork interviews each of the girls before their scenes, all of whom gladly strip and spread and masturbate in super closeup. They also reveal a little of their personalities, which is more than they do in their actual scenes. Bailey Banks prepares for her anal scene by inserting a butt plug and sitting down on it to chat. Marie McCray says she likes "any guy that can get a hard-on, hahahah." Capri explains that she likes big, strong guys, but never does anal. I suggest you watch this segment before the feature itself; it'll add a little to the anticipation of seeing these girls getting down and dirty.

                                               THE LAST WORD

Six beautiful girls usually are enough to make a disc a keeper, but the writing and acting and, most crucially, the sex scenes here are stunningly unimaginative. The sexual acts and positions feel like they come from a checklist of required activity, rather than seeming to occur naturally. (There's just nothing natural or comfortable about fucking doggy style while standing up, a position highly prized here by director Matti Klatt.) The bonus material is good, but one viewing will probably suffice.
