THE MOVIE

Most men like to look into the eyes of a pretty woman, especially when she's performing a certain act upon their person. The Housewife 1 On 1 series tries to capitalize on this law of desire, but having the girl look constantly into the camera and talk incessantly to it as if she were looking at and talking to the guy she's blowing or fucking becomes a strain.

The conversations are decidedly one-sided as each of the five ladies here in Volume 2 talks to a mostly unseen guy, behind whose shoulder stands the camera operator. It's a chance for the girls to show off their improvisational acting skills, made all the more impressive by the silence -- save for the occasional grunt or moan -- on the other end of the "conversation."

Coming through best in that regard is adorable and genuinely talented blue-eyed brunette Dani Woodward, whose scenario calls for her to fight with her husband over his infidelities and then quickly make up with him via sex. "This is worth a diamond necklace, isn't it babe?," she asks between slurps on his down-low dick. Alas, she must settle for a pearl necklace.

Another youthful performer, Azalea Lee, is also appealing in a natural, unadorned way, while veteran Rayveness makes you forget the artificiality of the P.O.V. arrangement.

That can't be said of the well-known Monica Mayhem, the DVD's cover girl, who kicks off this collection with an uninspired and mechanical scene. Her well-hung guy never gets really rock hard, and in fact all the disembodied dicks here seem to have a difficult time cumming. Could be that guy always standing behind them.

THE DVD

Weak. The menu is decent enough, with active shots of each of the girls and several chapter stops within each segment. But beyond a screen that displays all of production company Naughty America's web sites, there are no extras.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Worth a rental for Dani Woodward, and maybe for a gander at Charlee Chase's massive breasts (if you're into bottle blondes with egregious eye makeup), but otherwise the camera technique pulls the players out of the moment, making this a largely unerotic production.
