Audio/Video:
The Audio was presented in 2.0 with little to note. The sounds of the girls were crisp for most of the film. Occasionally their vocals caused some distortion from being too close to the mic, in particular the first scene. There was at times background noise that consisted of talking and moaning that came likely from another scene being shot in a nearby room. The Video was Full Frame. The picture quality was inconsistent throughout which was frustrating. Some scenes were meant, I suppose, to have a sneaky, midnight-tryst look, and so they were shot in very low light. This just meant that only parts of the girls could be seen fully. Other scenes were in full light, with no real problems.
Body of Review:
They're packing their overnight bags and pulling that old, dusty sleeping bag out of storage, for a Shane's World all girl slumber party. 6 gorgeous women plan an evening together filled with swimming, wrestling and other girly-girl games. Shane's World does it best when it comes to presenting fresh, clean beauties with that nextdoor neighbor look. Expect nothing less than perfect girls here, with natural breasts and beautiful bodies. When the sun goes down and the lights go out these nasty little nymphs do more than pillow fight and paint toenails.
Concluding Words: At first I was really excited about this title. The beginning had a lot of promise. There were some funny moments--the girls sumo wrestling, quoting lines from Austin Powers--mixed in with good, quick interviews and behind the scenes type of material. There were a few factors that killed this film. Technically, the lighting was back and forth, good bad. But more troubling were some of the acts, that instead of flowing smoothly were abrupt and never left me satisfied. Also there seemed a tendency to spend less time on the more attractive girls (Jassie and Ember) while devoting more to the others, who were good looking, but didn't have the lure of the other two. The final solo masturbation scenes are not even worth including on the disc as you're likely to forget them once their over, whereas the 'bonus footage' is worth looking at. I would have to say Rent It but specifically for the scenes with Jassie and Ember, they're the gems of the film. |
