Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 aspect ratio also known as full frame, as originally shot. I expect a lot from the Shane's World series since it's generally well done. There was some grain and moments of video noise but they were rare enough. The camera angles and shakiness of the production are part of it's charm, much like The Morgan Sex Project series, but this style doesn't appeal to everyone. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English but there was no discernable separation between the channels. Most of the time, the vocals were clear and easy to understand but again, not always. There was little dynamic range too. I didn't see or hear any compression artifacts.

Body of Review: A long time ago, a little series made a lot of noise in the porn world, a series that combined aspects of a couple of reality cable television shows, The Real World and Road Rules, and those of the usual sexual antics the porn industry is known for. The name of the series was Shane's World and until volume 19, it was directed and produced by Shane herself. After that, a series of uncredited directors were put in charge of the project under the auspices of the gal Shane gave the series to. There was always a lot to enjoy in the series though, regardless of who was at the helm, and aside from some controversy in recent years (they filmed with some college students and all heck broke loose), the series is almost always worth checking out. In Shane's World 30: Keepin' It Real, the idea was to show some fans having sex with the stars as well as a scene between a professional midget/dwarf skater and his girlfriend. In a way, this was kind of a departure from the concept the series was founded on and the results were mixed. The first two scenes were a lot of fun though so read the following scene breakdowns for more details:

Scene One: Gia, a cute brunette, and Tony, an average type guy, were going at one another in a bed when Brittney walked in on them. Being a friendly type, she joined in and they all started going down on one another. The gals double-teamed his meat and he gave a slight taste to them before screwing them in several positions. I liked it when the gals were on top of one another, spread for him to enjoy, but the side-by-side stuff allowed them easier access to one another too. It ended when he jerked off onto Brittney's stomach in this decent scene.

Scene Two: Calli, the blonde lead of several in the Shane World series releases, had a scene with a guy names Tex, a graduate student from Texas Tech, that won a contest online. I liked how they spent some time telling about themselves and the format allowed for a take off on one of those date shows, where we even get to see them go on a date. I suppose I'd like the ability to skip this part in the future (many fans would appreciate chapter stops to skip right to the sex), but it was similar to the Behind the Scenes footage a lot of DVD porn fans enjoy. It showed them kissing in several places and then finally getting down to business on a bed, with Calli blowing him. She worked him hard and then they did some 69 action before she rode him hard (and wet). He then fingered her to a squirting orgasm (although I'm told she just urinated all over the bed due to having so much fun) and she gave him an extra energetic blowjob with hand action to finish him off. It was fun and lasted about a half hour, making me want to see more of this kind of thing in the future (Christy Lake has a series where she has sex with fans, and it's often a lot of fun to watch too).

Scene Three: Nikita, the lean European gal known far and wide as an anal queen, had a scene with Nikko in her home, on her bed. She spent some time showing off her home, much like the Adam & Eve series Adult Stars At Home, and then they went to bed together. She gave one of her patented blowjobs, which would be more than enough to get me off, playing with the head, deep throating him, and all the other tricks she's learned over the years, before they started screwing. She's always a good ride and after a fair amount of vaginal sex, he did her anally in the pile driver position (as well as others). It ended when she used both her hands to jerk him off into her mouth.

Scene Four: Brittney, one of the stars of the recent AEE Show, known for her blonde hair, lean body, and willing attitude, had sex with Rock, one of her fans. They also had some time to get to know one another on a date, but the chemistry was lacking from the beginning. She treated it like a job and he was a slavering fan boy, knowing he'd get to tap her couchie. The sex was really weak and while it had oral with straight sex, this was one where even fans of Brittney will not want to see it more than once.

Scene Five: Ryan, a tall brunette with a lean body, and her real life boyfriend, semi-professional skater, Romeo, a dwarf (with all the Lord Of The Rings stuff going on, this is a natural these days). They discussed their relationship and life in general before they had a scene on a motel room bed. He went down on her, practically climbing down due to their differences in height, and she gave him a blowjob. His penis looked smaller than Ed Power's meat so you get the idea as to how silly it looked when she was groaning in pleasure (if that's what his cock did for her, most of the world would split her in two). The straight sex was in the missionary position and was almost as exciting as the previous scene.

Scene Six: Ayana, a 23 year old Black gal from Atlanta, Georgia, sat on a bed and talked about her sex life, before getting busy with a White guy names Chris. They did the oral and straight routine like the others and while she didn't do much for me, perhaps some of you will enjoy her performance. It wasn't up to the standard set by previous Shane's World shows, and appeared more like something you'd find in a second or third tier company.

Summary: If you enjoyed Volume 34, and Volume 28, you'll probably like this one enough to at least Rent It. Calli was one of the nicer people at the 2004 AEE Show, and it's a shame that she isn't performing any more. The technical matters and extras were almost enough to boost this one up to a higher rating but in the end, the feature itself needs to be stronger to do that. Don't skip the Behind the Scenes feature and special with Calli if you want to laugh a bunch after your post-coital activities.
