There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots but otherwise and a little bit of mpeg compression evident in some of the darker colors and the blacks. The image is presented in anamorphic widescreen at approximately 1.85.1 and overall the image is strong, stable and colorful. Skin tones look nice and natural, and there is no print damage.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient save for the fact that the levels do vary from one scene to the next a little bit. There isn't any dialogue really, just moans and groans but the score sounds good and the background music has some nice punch to it as it comes through the speakers loud and clear.

Extras:

The main supplement here is a behind the scenes documentary that clocks twenty-seven minutes in length. Look for some footage of the girls posing for still photographs, and from there we go behind the scenes of Melissa's DP scene. We get a chance to talk to the girls in a more relaxed environment and see them kicking back off set, and we also get to see them getting ready for their scenes with their respective partners and what not. It's actually a pretty decent look at the making of the production and worth checking out if you want to see more of any of the ladies featured in the main attraction.

Rounding out the extra features is a decent sized gallery of hardcore and softcore photos, animated menus and scene selection.

Final Thoughts:

While the seasonal theme of this release might not be to everyone's taste, Axel Braun has made a really hot piece of smut that can be enjoyed any time of the year. Each of the five scenes on this disc is a winner, which is a rarity in and of itself, and the behind the scenes documentary is also quite good. Given the quality of the ladies involved in this production and the genuine heat brought to each of their performances, consider Silent Night highly recommended.
