Extra's: My favorite extra was the 18.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Juan Cuba. I like seeing the cast and crew playing around as it gives a sense of fun to me so this added some value for me. There was also a 10 minute long series of photoshoots where the gals were having their pictures taken. I'm not as interested in that kind of thing since it seems so posed and fake but others see things differently. The other extras rounding out the package included trailers, a cumshot recap, a photogallery, a director's biography, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Wet Brunettes 3 was presented in a 1.33:1 ratio full frame color picture as originally shot by director Jewel De'Nyle. The lighting was solid and the colors accurate with little grain to speak of, making this a nice looking set of scenes. I saw no compression artifacts or other major visual flaws that people have complained about in regards to Platinum X Pictures so I suppose you could say they're listening to consumers. The audio was a bit more mixed with a limited stereo English track that sounded like it was bare bones in most ways. With little separation between the front channels and not a whole lot of dynamic range, it served the purpose but only on a basic level.

Body of Review: Jewel De'Nyle has long been one of my favorite performers in porn and having hung up her acting career to focus on directing and running Platinum X Pictures, she continues to impress me with her versatility. She has taken PXP to new heights and in their 115th release, Wet Brunettes 3, she shows that blondes don't have all the fun by providing an interesting assortment of attractive women to let loose on screen. While the sex here wasn't as extreme as other releases from the company, the scenes did have some good action and here's a quick breakdown of the scenes by cast and types of sex they had with one another:

Scene One: Avy, starting the show off with some solo action as she showered her nice body (even her mother-bought implants were sweet to look at) to get ready for a scene with Joey. The camera quickly cut away to the two of them on a bed with her sucking him off like a champion. She's the gal on the front DVD cover and she reminded me a lot of a very young Sydnee Steele. In any case, she made some cute noises with her throat as she went down on him and he reciprocated to get her wet in the old fashioned sense. The two then screwed with a fair amount of mechanical energy, with some spanking and PTM action since she wanted to taste herself off his member. They repeated this after several positions and it ended when he blew his nuts all over her body. It wasn't the best scene but she was a cutie so I can see why she won the cover.

Scene Two: Jezebelle, a gal I hadn't seen in a porno in quiet some time, was sporting a new look as she bathed in the tub with running water. Her all natural breasts seemed to like the water and it looks like she toned up a bit here. She worked with Julian on a couch after the water aspect of the scene and gave him an okay blowjob to start off her action packed scene. As she pointed out in the BTS feature, his penis was nearly as wide and long as her lower arm so I figured it'd be interesting to watch her handle him (and I was right). He didn't go down on her but he saved his energy to drill her like he was looking for oil in several positions. She seemed subdued her compared to previous scenes and while she did a bit of taste testing, it wasn't all that good but fans of watching a gal pushed to her limits will find the pumping action pretty intense at times. I didn't notice any chemistry between them but on a mechanical level they did just fine.

Scene Three: Dillan, a sweety with an ample sample of an ass, was next up in a nice outdoor pool as she flashed her body in the mid day sun. While I'd have preferred her to leave the ink at home, her eyes were alive and enticing, making her a gal I wanted to watch in action. Her partner was Sergio and the two of them got busy on a couch in a living room. I picked up the vibe that she enjoyed working with him but she did most of the work from the splendid oral top the passionate boning. She did do some dirty talk but not enough for my tastes (and it's not polite to talk with your mouth full) when they switched positions and he started slamming his meat inside her. She was one of the gals that liked anal and the anal action was more energetic than the other gals were vaginally. There was a bit of ATM but nothing like I've seen elsewhere yet the scene was well done and worth watching several times.

Scene Four: Mikayla, a 22 year old cutie with nice curves, continued the trend of the gals to outdo one another by taking on a duo of men; Tee and Juan. She was also a very attractive gal with moderate implants and her water activity was limited to the shower but she knew how to tease better than the others (or at least was directed better in that manner). Initially, she alternated between the guys and then they started taking turns boning her (mostly from behind) and I was thinking there'd be no anal since there had been so much vaginal here. At the point I gave up on anal, they actually started doing some and it went on for a long time before she took the DP (double penetration). Yeah, she did the taste testing like the others but the frothy facials would likely be the highlight for fans.

Scene Five: Jazmin, an exotic looking gal from the Middle East (I know what she said in the BTS feature but…), had the most girlish figure of the cast and showered in a white tiled bathtub before getting it on with Manuel on a couch. There wasn't much oral and her accent as he slammed away at her pussy was interesting to hear. She worked herself onto him a lot more than most of the others and the frantic pacing of the screwing was actually pretty cool. He went down on her afterwards and then dropped a large load onto her face before the scene ended.

Summary: Wet Brunettes 3 really didn't play up the tease or water theme enough for me to completely enjoy what happened her so I'm going to rate it as a Rent It. The cast should've been more in tune with one another and had better chemistry yet I can't be too hard on the DVD since the advertised action took place in spades. Overall, the generic nature of several scenes weakened it more than I would've liked but fans of the cast should take note that most of them looked pretty good and didn't come off as completely hating the action.
