Extra's: The best extra for me was a 17.5 minute Behind the Scenes featurette for the movie. It had the cast discussing their scenes and some other trivia with some extra sex taking place. There was a second, 21 minute long, Behind the Scenes feature for a photoshoot. Fans of Gina's will love this one since it had so much endearing footage of her in a variety of skimpy outfits but as she's an acquired taste, the value of the extra will be in direct proportion to how much you enjoy her look. Lastly, there was a photogallery and a true double sided DVD cover for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: Flash 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as directed by Lorenzo Santini for Club Magazine (and distributed by Pulse Pictures/Paragon Publishing). Like the last time in the series, the scenes looked pretty good with decent lighting that gave the fleshtones a nice look to them. This also kept the grain to a minimum although there were many cases where some fill lighting would've worked to eliminate shadows. My two biggest problems with the visual aspects of the show were the rapid paced edits and the composition of many scenes that would not enhance the look of the gals much of the time. Focusing on blemishes and other flaws too often weakens the appeal of a porno just as not attempting to showcase a gal's best features. There were no compression artifacts and only a hint of video noise though so the visuals were okay but in need of work. The stereo English 2.0 Dolby track here was dynamically okay but the music took precedence over the vocals and was very droning. This was the other part of the movie's scenes I didn't appreciate. If I want generic techno music, I can go to any number of loser clubs and blow out my eardrums that way so hearing it in my porn is distracting at best.

Body of Review: Gina Lynn has been sort of a junior version of the lovely Jenna Jameson in how well she has exploited various opportunities to expand the cross over market between porn and mainstream. Appearing in bit roles in music videos and cable television shows (among other things), she has become a minor force in porn thanks to a growing fan base. Her latest release on DVD is Flash 2, the sequel to Flash 1. I know that the two were shot together but I think this one worked better thanks to a couple of standout performances. If you like vignette driven shows and Gina Lynn, you'll enjoy this one a lot. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that some condoms were used here:

Scene One: Gina Lynn, once again reprising her role as a photographer, was up first in a scene partnering her with Jezebelle Bond and Tommy Gunn in a hay loft set. In case you've been sleeping in a very dark cave the last ten years, Gina is the bleach blonde featured on the right hand side of the front DVD cover and Jezebelle is the brunette beside her there with the collar on (pink and black collar). The gals both jumped muscular Tommy and double teamed his shaft orally before the gals took turns riding his throbbing manhood in their pussies. Gina's ride was tenuous at best but even in slow motion, she was a moderately active participant of the sex. The scene clearly billed her as the lead (short changing Jezebelle) but should work for her fans nonetheless. It ended when he popped out a load to both of them in their mouths at that with the gals kissing to swap the semen.

Scene Two: Felix Vicious, an incredibly sexy gal with a lean body, sparkling eyes, and pretty face, was up next in a scene with Travis Knight (Gina Lynn's boyfriend) in a modernistic jailhouse scene. I'll admit that I don't see enough of this all natural hotty but given that Travis chose to work with her instead of Gina speaks volumes too. He went down on her first and she seemed to enjoy the action enough to give him a sloppy blowjob in return. Her oral was superior to the last scene but she moved right into the vaginal pumping before I was ready for her to. While she could stand to gain a few pounds, she was a very energetic sex partner; showing the kind of enthusiasm I like to watch in my porn. They switched positions a few times and he pulled her hair like a reign as he was so turned on. She then blew him to orgasm on her face and the scene was a winner in my book.

Scene Three: Brittney Skye and Gina Lynn were up next in a lesbian tryst that began as part of another shoot. The setting was minimal and the two looked pretty good on the front DVD cover (the gals were on the bottom of the left hand side). Each gal came off as a thematic twin of the other with the heavy make up, augmentations, and stripper outfits, sampling all the other had to offer using a purple vibrator and their tongues to full effect. It was okay as far as lesbian scenes go but each has done better in the past; relying more on skill than the style employed here. The sex centered on the toy too much for my tastes (actually, there were two toys) but there was enough material for a fan to stroke off to.

Scene Four: Melissa Lauren, in her black PVC fetishware, was up next as she dominated Mario Rossi on a polka dot stage. This is another gal that had an all natural body and her sexual resume is nothing short of outstanding in terms of the performances she has given in the past. Her oral here even surpassed that of Felix for sheer drive and passion but her sloppy "mouth love" act worked too. The sexual ride involved a condom but she was so into the screwing that I barely noticed it as she took every stroke he gave and returned it with vigor. It didn't have anal but it almost single-handedly elevated the DVD up a rating so someone should send her a second check (by the way, I'm not her biggest fan but I'll call them like I see them). It ended when she jerked him off into her lovely mouth with the kind of care I could get used to.

Scene Five: Avena Lee, the cutie on the far left side of the front DVD cover with dark hair and an exotic look, was up last with Talon. I'm not exactly driven by Asian themes but I think they work for many men due to the mythology of the cultures they come from. That said, she is a good performer and her scene here was certainly solid as she inhaled his meat pipe with a ferocity second only to Melissa. They then screwed vaginally in a few positions but the oral was the best part of the scene by far. I wondered where she got all the scratches on her lovely little ass but the scene was a mixed blessing for me overall. It ended as expected, with him dropping a load on her face and that was it.

Summary: Flash 2 was worth a limited rating of Recommended for fans of the talented Gina Lynn. The vignettes varied in terms of quality but the technical matters were hampered largely by stylish matters that some of you might enjoy more than I did. The ladies addressed different audiences with a range from standard porn chick to the exotic flavored hotties taking larger portions of the market. In short, Flash 2 provided a moderate amount of material starring Gina Lynn (with lots more in the extras section) and fans will find it well worth their time but don't overlook the even better performances by Melissa Lauren and Felix Vicious given how good a job they did.
