Extra's: There was a director's audio commentary with Jack Vincennes and one of the producers(?). He discussed some aspects of the production and cast but, like other Sin City directors, remained silent during the sex scenes. There was also an 14 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage by Jason Silver, 18.5 minutes of interviews with Aurora Snow, Nikki Loren, Angel Cassidy, Ava Vincent, Emily DaVinci, and Gina Ryder, trailers, photogallery, credits, cumshot gallery, company profile with trailers and award winners, short biographies, and spam to round it out with. To sum it up, this was a good selection of extras that added some real value to the DVD.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen color with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The picture had a bit more grain than I prefer to see but I think it looked pretty good overall for a movie shot entirely at night. I saw no compression artifacts, just a bit of video noise that was probably due to the lighting. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English (not the advertised 5.1 surround) but it sounded good with a fairly solid mix between the vocals and the music.

Body of Review: In my continuing quest to sample all that Sin City Entertainment has to offer, I watched another feature this afternoon, After Midnight. The movie was a feature/plotted porno that took a look at a man, (played by Kurt Lockwood), who is subjected to a mind game by a lovely woman (played by Aurora Snow) after she takes him home for a quick screw. I haven't seen a lot of work by director Jack Vincennes and found this to be an entertaining flick to enjoy with the story aspects worth watching almost as much as the sexual antics going on. Here's what the box cover had to say about the movie:

"When Scott met Teri he thought he'd found heaven on earth, a young wild beauty with a seemingly endless desire for sex, sin and decadence... who could ask for more? A perfect world... until he begins to realize that Teri isn't the angel he thought she was... from her strange mix of friends he begins to piece together an elaborate game of identity thief and sexual manipulation and he's the victim... the pawn... the dupe in a carnal chess game that begins... After Midnight."

Even fans of gonzo may find this one worth checking out since the cast and sexual activities included a host of cuties doing a lot of fun things to one another. Here's a breakdown of the scenes for you to help with your decision:

Scene One: Aurora, the hotty on the front DVD cover and contract gal for Sin City, took Kurt back to her place and showed him a good time. She started off by pawing him all over and taking his clothes off before giving him a hummer. Thankfully, she shows the same dedication here as she does with her studies in real life so you know he's going to blow his wad in no time if she doesn't let up a bit. Her playful nature and skill with a penis maxed me out but then he got a chance to return the favor. His skills weren't as refined, relying more on fingering her and friction than skill, but she did seem to have fun with it. They then screwed vaginally and anally with her doing some ass to mouth (ATM) before he doused her whole body with a pop shot. Yum!

Scene Two: Gina, a curvy babe from Texas, and Kurt, had a scene in the back of the adult bookstore. She started things off by blowing him and he soon had his opportunity to go down on her, including some rim job action before he wrapped his rascal and started boning her from behind. After a fairly long screw in varying positions, he pumps out a load on her breasts and abdomen. It was a good scene between these two with some chemistry.

Scene Three: Angel and Nikki, a stunning contrast of a blonde and brunette, had a lesbian scene in a dark room at night. There weren't any toys used, just licking and fingers, which made this a nice change of pace to watch. Each gal contributed something to the warmth and I only wish the scene was a bit longer and better lit. It fit the story pretty well though.

Scene Four: Ava, one of the more attractive blondes in the jizz bizz, started off her scene by having Chris go down on her for a prolonged period of time. He licked every nook and cranny of her couchie, which put her in the mood to give him the best blowjob of his life. She kept eye contact with him as she slobbered all over his penis, even using her hand for additional friction, and playfully toyed with it in a number of ways in this scene taking place in a dark alley at night. Her fishnet stockings made her legs look extra inviting and he then took her from behind for a while. He then rolled her into a missionary position and banged away before busting his nut as she sucked him to completion (on her chest).

Scene Five: Emily, the porn world's answer to Rob Rotten (looking like a retro-punk rock gal from the late 70's, started in on Kurt in the dark doorway to a sex club. Gina provided backup to the young gal as she blew her and jerked him off. The two then assaulted his salami with some tag team action as Aurora and Dillion had a scene nearby (with a crowd watching them). Aurora did some gagging action on Dillion and then climbed aboard him for a ride in her tight pussy. She would alternate between getting screwed and licking him clean until she was taken in doggy fashion, which was hot. She then switched positions and screwed until he rubbed out a load on her face.

Summary: If you like Aurora Snow as a performer, this will simply be a must-have DVD. Her two scenes were great and the others were also solid in terms of heat and fun. The story itself was actually interesting enough that I gave the fast forward a break, even on my second viewing (listening to the commentary on the second time around). I like several of the performers here and think the movie was worth a solid Recommended or better, depending on your taste. I just hope in future commentaries, the director doesn't clam up for three fourths of the show as many of the Sin City stable seem to do.
