Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. It had the same grain and slightly soft focus I've come to expect from Vivid but aside from a handful of artifacts, it wasn't bad in terms of how it looked. The audio was presented in stereo English and showed a minor amount of separation between the channels. The music was mixed slightly too loud in a few cases but this time, the vocals were clear.

Body of Review: David Stanley is the porn director mostly known for his straightforward feature porno's made for Vivid. Often enough, he'll add in some Twilight Zone style twisted ending but the actual sex scenes and plot tend to be a bit limited. Some of the time, this works out just fine and other times, it's a bit stilted in terms of entertaining an audience. In the latest release by the Vivid/Stanley team, 1 Way Out, the director showcases former Vivid contract gal, Dasha, in a story that has her trying to use a man to off her husband. Being that this is a Stanley film, I was sure that the ending would be some sicko finish for all the cast but I'm not going to ruin the matchbook cover plot for you. The primary reason for checking this one out if the fine scenes by Dasha and Ava, both of whom have a lot of fun (and give it in return). Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Dasha, the cutie from the front DVD cover, was wearing her French maid outfit while Dillion took her from behind. The sex included oral and straight only and was energetic, if not as hot as the two have had elsewhere.

Scene Two: Ava, the lean blonde known for her performances with men and women alike, took on Lezley on a couch. It was playful and mostly centered on oral and fingers. Yum!

Scene Three: Ava, wearing a black dress (but not for long), had Dillion give her the hot beef injection on a bed in a room lit by candlelight. Ava shined once more in this scene and her two-handed oral skills looked fine, mighty fine, to me.

Scene Four: Dasha, while on some stairs, took care of Mason's needs. Most of the scene was oral but the two had some vaginal sex as well. Not bad.

Scene Five: Dasha, looking especially hot in this scene, did Randy on a bed. While the sex was more energetic than most of the other scenes, it didn't quite have as much chemistry as I'd hoped for (but still a lot). Warm sex with oral and straight as the focus.

Summary: While I wouldn't hand this one any awards, I did like the sex scenes enough to want to keep this one. Being a fan of both Dasha and Ava, I find the movie good enough to suggest as a Rent It to most fans and even higher to fans of the gals like I am. The picture did look a bit better than previous releases by Vivid so they're going in the right direction and I find that comforting, given their stable of attractive contract women and resources to shoot adult movies.
