Extra's: The best extra was clearly the bonus masturbation scene from Fuck For Dollars starring Amanda West, and Jack Venice. I briefly described it below for those who care but it was a nice piece of work lasting over 32.5 minutes. There was also a true double sided DVD cover inside one of the usual gray New Sensation DVD cases but that was it for extras.

Audio/Video Quality: I Film Myself was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by the ladies (not Eddie Powell) for Greedy Video. This was the second release under the new label and served to spotlight the company's willingness to try something new fairly well; with a lot of unpolished looking visuals used to add to the theme of the movie (a reality masturbation show where the ladies were in charge of their own scenes). The lighting was fair to moderate, minimizing the grain and video noise in large part, with the compositional matters being in need of some editing and better camerawork but again, that was part of the appeal of the movie; the gals controlled the cameras. The fleshtones were slightly washed out but in fairness to the movie, the theme wouldn't have worked as well if it looked crisp and clear. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with no separation, minimal music and nothing to detract or add to the sex in large part. Some whispering could be heard at times but it wasn't all that bad or frequent, lending an air to the gonzo format.

Body of Review: Greedy Video is a newcomer to porn but as an offshoot of Digital Sin/New Sensations, it has solid backing to experiment with. Their second release is I Film Myself, a series of masturbation scenes where the ladies control the camera with no assistance as they masturbate alone in a room. Having seen similar projects over the years at weaker companies, I originally thought this one was going to be lame since most people have a really weak idea as to how to control a camera while getting off but the rough edges aside, this proved to work surprisingly well. The cover said it like this: "Hold on to your dicks, because the girls are in charge now! Find out what happens behind closed doors when we hand over the camera and let these girls sit in the driver seat. It's the girls taping themselves now so there's just no telling how far they'll go. Because like it or not, some girls just love to do it themselves!" That said, it was a lot of fun and those of you that aren't into watching parolees with large cocks tear into the pussy will probably find this a nice change of pace. Here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that no condoms were needed due to the theme of the movie:

Scene One: Lindsay Meadows, a lean brunette with a stripper body and gal next door face, showed the world her cute little pink nightie as she adjusted the camera to more properly capture her lithe frame. She slowly teased and her all natural chest looked even better with hard nipples as she talked to the camera. After stripping off the clothing, she pulled out a pocket rocket, fingering herself while she made little moaning noises, even tasting the thing when it was covered in juice. That led to her getting really close up on it but it was notable that the camera seemed like it was left on the bedside table and not moved around (establishing the theme).

Scene Two: Miko Sinz, the Asian cutie on the front cover with the nice ass, showed herself off in her room as she walked about, holding the camera as she prepared to set it up on the table to free her hands. I didn't like all the bruises adorning her legs but like Lindsay, she had a nice sense of playfulness that translated well onto the small screen. Her blue outfit was light, skimpy, and gave her easy access to her figure, but I thought the positioning of the camera didn't capture the scene as well as the last few movies I saw her in. Still, she did better when she moved to the bed and pulled the camera angle out a bit; picking it up again for some action with the larger strap on dildo she had on her chest of drawers (dresser). She moved about more to adjust the camera but it was also a fun scene to appreciate.

Scene Three: Ava Rose, a newcomer nominated for several awards recently, was up next and I admit that she looked really seductive as she followed the theme here. Like the others, she talked a lot and asked rhetorical questions about her age (20 years old) and other aspects of her presentation. She was faster to use her red vibrator then they were and did more close ups, but in general, it was also a fine little scene to appreciate thanks to her enthusiasm. I think I would have rather she had a dedicated cameraman or multiple cameras affixed to a control she could have worked (a mixing board with switch set up) but I liked it.

Scene Four: Kaylee Sanchez, a busty gal with a pretty face and wonderfully curvy body, also had the stripper mentality as she showed off her money maker and other fine parts in her bedroom. She seemed a bit less spontaneous then some of the others but she definitely had an eye for what worked and the understanding of how to maximize her tease quotient to maintain my interest. Fans of large breasts and fleshy asses will like her the most but she was definitely in a class by herself when it came to how she was so casual about her sexuality; making it appear like she has done a lot of internet work. If so, I'd sure like to see it but her yellow vibrator got a workout and I'd have tasted it too.

Scene Five: Britney Stevens, a curvy Latina that looked familiar, was problematic for me at first due to poor lighting in her bedroom. She was more polished in terms of how she turned on the vocals and sped right to certain standard tease positions but the camera work was in great need of a live human controlling it rather then simply left on the bed stand as the others had done. In that sense, she seemed to be the least sophisticated of the pack (her ability to project what the camera saw) but her demeanor was such that the playfulness made up for it. The old lady vibrator she used was in need of an update but fans of pissing (also called "squirting") will love the ending waterworks.

Scene Six: Jazmine Leih, a Filipina with some extra body fat that I've seen before, was up last on the bed. She seemed the most polished in terms of her mannerisms; about as convincing that she was getting off as I would be, but some guys like a hardened attitude in their sexual playmates so I'm not complaining. She followed the general formula and eventually used a large red dildo, jamming it inside of her pussy rapidly as it made those slight noises you'd expect from the lube (I really like those noises by the way) until the scene ended. I didn't think she got off but it was slightly better than a filler scene for me.

Scene Seven: Fuck For Dollars: Amanda West, a natural coed type of gal sitting outside under the shade of a tree, was looking through a magazine trying to find an affordable Mustang to buy as Jack Venice and the cameraman approached her. The guys gave her a means to make some cash by interviewing her for an unnamed project, though she sounded like a car salesman for Ford as she praised their line. The 19 year old Denver gal ended up on the bed and was coaxed into flashing them initially with more on the way as they negotiated. Her stripper mentality was funny and served as a fun way to tease, coming across as a bit less realistic but still worthwhile thanks to her cute package. It was an unpolished hummer to say the least but that helped make it all the better for the theme, moving to passive vaginal ride in several positions before the facial and chest pop. If you appreciate fresh looking gals, you'll like the scene that showed her doing it for the hardcore rate of $134 (listing her as an easy ho).

Summary: I Film Myself by the performers of the cast showed that the risk taken by Greedy Video was a good one. While not every scene was captured as well as the best ones, even the weakest scene had some serious stroke value. Comparing it to more mainstream porn projects is meaningless since it really seemed to convey a sense of heat in most cases, a marked change for some of the cast. Further, the levels of fuck for the buck and replay value was higher then expected, making I Film Myself worthy of at least a rating of Recommended for all the rough edges it had, thanks to the playfulness of the action. I hope the series continues and uses other gals of merit, a particularly important factor for a show like this that strips them naked of any of the usual trappings of modern porn.
