Extra's: The best extra was easily the 22.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. I'm sure some people will fuss about the light watermark on the lower right hand side but especially on this type of feature, I can't complain too loudly. In any case, some of the cast spent a bit of time speaking with director David Luger; starting with the gals from scene five and moving on to the gals from scene four but sadly, the others were left out this time. There was also a photogallery but that was it.

Audio/Video Quality: Girl On Girl was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that it was shot in by director David Luger. The colors were accurate, the fleshtones solid, and the level of grain minimal in most of the scenes. It wasn't as sharp and clear as most Red Light District movies but if you like attractive gals doing one another, you probably won't notice it. The thing that'll bother most fans was the light watermark featuring the RLD logo on the lower right hand side during the entire movie. I know that type of thing is done to combat piracy (I vividly recall Jules Jordan at Evil Angel getting whined at over the same issue a few years back) but surely there must be a better way; even an intermittent watermark is better than a continuous one. The audio was presented in the basic stereo English with light separation between the channels and limited dynamic range but you could hear every nasty comment and groan made (as well as all the minor background noises) so I thought it was okay.

Body of Review: Fans of lesbian action had long been treated like top paying customers in the porn world since virtually all movies had some Lesbian sex included for decades. Over recent years, this has reversed with more movies skipping gals doing gals than ever before as gonzo porn has become more prevalent. Thankfully, Red Light District has attempted to revitalize the wonderful world of lesbianism with Girl On Girl, a set of five scenes with a variety of attractive young gals having some fun with one another, unmolested by the usual parolees porn is known for. If you've enjoyed RLD's past works, it seems only fair to give them a shot at something new, especially with director David Luger, a world renowned pervert, at the helm. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that the gals seemed to approach the sex in a formulaic manner, with David repeatedly getting heavy handed in what he instructed them to do:

Scene One: Ava and Eva, a couple of lean brunettes with all natural bodies, were up first after talking to David a bit. As they spoke, they played with one another, rubbing and otherwise warming up for the coming scene. Each gal did oral and the main sexual feat of daring do was the use of a strap on dildo (followed by a dildo). There was also some spanking to liven up the usual vocals ("oh yeah, oh yeah") and even anal play with each gal having a good time. If asked whether or not they truly came, I'd have to say that there was room for doubt but neither shied away from the action throughout the scene.

Scene Two: Kelle and Mikayla, were up next on a bed. Kelle seemed the dominant partner this time and fans of blondes will appreciate her tease session at the beginning of the scene but my favorite part was when the baby oil came out for some masturbation action. The gals then quickly progressed through the regular formula and while I was fixated on the oil play (between them both), I believe that Mikayla got off during the anal play.

Scene Three: Sarah and Justine were next up after a bit of tease where one stayed indoors and the other peeped at her from outside. Once in motion, the two followed the formula and each was certainly attractive enough to please fans of lipstick lesbian action. Did I ever believe they got off during the scene; no, not really but they had the mechanics down like old professionals and fans of the various Blake movies will probably appreciate seeing Justine in a new, far less stylish, setting on a bed. The one thing I wished for was some strap on action and this scene didn't have it but the large dildo did seem to stretch them a lot more than usual.

Scene Four: Charisma, the gal on the front DVD cover wearing white lingerie, and the beautiful Breanne (who looked like performer Boo but with larger breasts), started off the next scene with some tease footage on a staircase inside. David directed the action this time, making me wonder if they really liked gals enough to give a spontaneous showing but I figured it was more about his style in this scene than others. The good news was that each gave and received some strap on dildo action although the levels of chemistry varied more than usual. For me, I thought the variations were more frustrating than anything since I'd notice a tempo just as it would slow down. The final moments were kind of weird since the scene just stopped for no reason (maybe the camera ran out of tape or memory?) and that killed finally killed it for me.

Scene Five: Nikki, Mia and Charlie, all 20 years old, had a scene on a couch with it being Charlie's first lesbian scene. Nikki, one of the most beautiful gals in porn these days, seemed well matched with tiny Mia and the added bonus of Charlie's inexperience made it the most interesting scene for me on many levels. The tease this time was mostly in the mind as Charlie told David what she wanted to do and rubbed herself while doing so but once the trio went at it; I never thought they wanted to be anyplace else. Charlie must've gotten off at least a couple of times and the heat between these three was evident from the beginning all the way to the end of the scene. Whew!

Summary: Girl On Girl is a far cry from David's usual brand of heated gonzo action so I have to give him credit for trying something a bit off the beaten track but the DVD had a lot of missed opportunities and weaker moments dragging the entire release down so the best I can give it this time is a rating of Rent It. I'm hoping that future installments, if any are made, get gals that are clearly into other gals and all the scenes are given a chance to add something different to keep them from ending up as generic as many here seemed to me. If you like lesbian scenes, even lipstick lesbian scenes, as much as I do; you'll probably like this one more than most consumers but even with a sale as good as Empire has right now, it came off as a bit more mixed than I prefer. The watermark sure didn't help either although I've never really been against them all that much so you'll have to weigh that factor in according to your own sensibilities.
