Extras: The best extra was the 25:27 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, the footage comprised of a series of post sex interviews. There was then a sex act menu, a photogallery, some trailers, spam and company information. Each of the interviews was different but allowed the cast and director put their scene in context as well as allow them to expound on various topics so don’t miss it.

Audio/Video Quality: Mother Knows Best was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin under her now-established Tabu Tales line. The director of photography was Eddie Powell, no surprise there, an acknowledged expert in the field with very few peers in terms of quality production work, their collaborations together considered some of the very best the industry has to offer. Unlike a recent competitor’s title touching on a few of the same themes, this one was much more reminiscent of the classic “Taboo” series starring Kay Parker though with all the modern upgrades in cinematography. It was clear that a lot of work went into the movie and it looked really good, the editing by Gabrielle Anex and lighting helping a bunch. There was a company watermark in the lower right corner of the screen but it was very light and unobtrusive so few should complain. The aural components were well done too, the quality of the stereo English presentation combining clear vocals, appropriate ambient sounds, and a mixture of well handled musical pieces to work really well.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James and her work with Eddie Powell at Digital Sin have won many awards and been nominated for even more, sparking enough sales that the usual copycats are “borrowing” even more than usual from their idea mill. Their latest collaboration in the “Tabu Tales” line is called Mother Knows Best, each of the four scenes centered on step family trysts (step mother on step son here) where both consenting partners relished the impromptu encounters, the sex flowing naturally out of every day events. Of note was the age appropriateness of the couplings, no stretches of the imagination needed here as is all too often the case elsewhere, and the personal chemistry of the couplings; the believability of the encounters such that the company placed a disclaimer on the front of the credits. With Ava Addams, Mellanie Monroe, Shay Fox, and Simone Sonay on hand, I felt it would be fun to watch.

The back cover described the movie like this: “A nude photography project explodes into a sexual affair when a young man asks his stepmother to pose naked for him. After discovering her stepson is working as an escort for neighborhood friends, a horny mother wants to see if he lives up to his reputation. A young man's attempts to avoid his voluptuous stepmother are thwarted by her unyielding determination to seduce him. A woman and her stepson have harbored a secret romantic crush on one another for years, but passion takes over when he gives her a tempting ultimatum.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: A Little Game of Make Believe: Mellanie Monroe, a thick blond MILF with very pretty eyes, decided to establish a family bond with new step son Tyler Nixon, the weasel always hiding from her in the house. She wore provocative clothing but she found him in a dark closet, her tight blue dress hugging her before she stripped to try out different outfits (giving him an eyeful in the process). She thought it would help to play a game of make believe on the bed with him so he’d be more forthcoming with his opinion. His growing bulge led to her getting all over him, the gal on top of him to come out with her need for morning sex from him as his dad didn’t satisfy her. Mellanie inhaled his pecker orally from there, teasing the head with her tongue and giving him some hand to gland friction as her solid eye contact continued throughout the scene. She throated him and slid into a 69 from there, the gal suffocating him with her huge boobs before mounting his turgid rod in cowgirl variations. She had a big bruise on her ass but was otherwise firm and juicy, her screaming as she actively rode him leading to more active oral and riding of her bald beaver. He busted a nut of semen on her ass crack and that was it, the basic scenario enhanced solely because of her.

Scene Two: My Mom, My Soulmate: Simone Sonay, a blond hotty with a Heather Locklear thing going for her, was up next with Michael Vegas, the two establishing themselves as “buddies” in the friend zone as they did everything together though he wanted more than their step relationship. Unlike most stories in the series, he was the sexual aggressor and he gave her an ultimatum, the scene providing ample coverage of the couple on the outs before she jumped him on the living room couch. She kissed him and he was all over her, the couple rapidly undressing before she slobbed his knob and he gobbled her gash. He then fingered her shaven slit as he sucked her nipples, several positions of moderately active vaginal penetration included before he unleashed his sperm by hand all over her torso and tits, the two kissing as she caught her breath. It had a creepier ending though, no spoils from me.

Scene Three: In The Name of Art: Shay Fox, a curvy brunette with short hair and gigantic implants, was up next as she posed for artist Chad White, the step relationship covered briefly as she helped him out for a school project at the last minute. He snapped shots of her as she moved through various poses, the transition from her being particularly shy to meeting his mouth for kisses handled a bit awkwardly in my opinion. Still, she became the sexual aggressor and straddled on top of him, his mouth working her pucker as well as her mostly bald pussy while she kept her legs spread. She gave him the briefest of blowjobs from there, taking in the head but stopping short of a good hummer. She then jumped onto his turgid rod and let him do most of the work, a little more head between positions given as they bumped uglies. I really felt little connection with the scene and it just didn’t work for me as inspirational material, most of his juices hitting her upper torso as she gave him some post coital sex.

Scene Four: Don’t Quit Your Day Job: Ava Addams, a smoking hot brunette with great curves and an appealing face, was up last with Van Wylde as she questioned his attention to personal grooming when he claimed to be doing lawn work for neighbors to pay for college. While he looked more like he’d be servicing the guys of the area, she came across a check from a lady, far too large to come from anything other than hooking. The story was light again but serviceable and my personal admiration of Ava helped overlook any of the issues I had, the lady jumping all over him as he protested. The “I’ve seen you looking at me and want it as much as I do” dynamic would be ultra creepy had the gender roles been reversed, and it still left me with a bit of distaste though seeing Ava aggressively work him over orally and apply a wonderful handjob while her sweet ass was in the air wearing tight jeans did impact my feelings a bit too. She devoured him and then bounced on his pecker vaginally like she was on fire, her labia spreading easily to accommodate his modest member as she gave up some dirty talk. He ate her neatly trimmed twat after a few positions and drilled her some more, the guy wildly spraying her stomach and tits with his seed before an ending kiss.

Summary: Mother Knows Best by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin had solid casting, upscale technical values, and four creative scripts going for it, the casts handling the light material at least as well as the many competitors (better than most, frankly). I know some out there prefer the brighter themes of Jacky’s Romance line to the forbidden fruit aspects of Tabu Tales but the darker elements give more to work with and remain more interesting over time for some, enhancing replay value for many and strokability for others. This time, the series of vignettes earned a rating of Recommended courtesy of efforts in front and behind the camera, Ava Addams and Mellanie Monroe standing out for me though Shay Fox and Simone Sonay did an ample job too. In short, I liked Mother Knows Best as another welcome outing in the “Tabu Tales” line, Jacky again proving to have the right stuff to pull such an effort together without it getting overly creepy, the number one wood killer associated with most of the copycats and imitators on the market so give this one a look.
