Audio/Video: Fade To Black 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The sound for the most was very crisp and clear. The background music was worked in very well into the film. The lighting left little to be desired especially since the majority of the film as in a dark setting.

Body Of Review:

As the movie opens, Paul is complaining to Tony Tedeschi about how boring and mundane his life has become. His own battles with his demons follow him around leaving him to wish for something interesting would happen. As they say, be careful what you ask for. As the movie unfolded it has Paul trying to re-claiming what he has lost in his directing style. Being hired by a suppose company owned by Ava Vincent (featured on the cover) has vested interested in him and in Sinclair Heights the area of which they live, they take on a task of making a soft corn movie which really doesn't work out that way.
Trent (Paul Thomas) finds himself frustrated and at wits end working with amateurs who basically want to earn money to offset their financial responsibilities and try something new. Paul manipulates the couples until they start cheating on one another building up enough sexual energy to perform on camera the way Paul would like them to perform. They say revenge is sweet when served up coldly , trust me there nothing cold about the sex scenes in Fade To Black 2. The intensity builds further each time as Paul undermines the level of trust with each couple. With all the plot twist and turns one has to pay attention to whom is doing whom and why. Jealousy does rear its ugly head when spark and fur fly for one of the couples as turn about is fair play and all's fair in love and war. Fade To Black 2 is an very well-written film with some solid acting in it.

As with all Vivid Titles prior to the start of the movie our DVD players are held hostage to speak by 6 minutes of sex info-mericals which to me are pointless as a women though appealing to the male mind of teasing them before hand. Though I tried to escape out of it a few times all it did was shut down my player making me sit through the commercials. Once the movie did start I was curious as to why so much hype about it and went looking for the first one. I went into watching Fade To Black 2 without seeing the first and from what I've seen here, I guess I am going to have to make it a point to buy it for my own collection. Vivid has out done themselves again with the cast. The girls from Vivid would make any grown man heart stop. In Fade To Black 2 some of the original cast have return to reprise there roles. Paul Thomas both directs the movie and has a non sex role. Needless to say Fade To Black 2 makes for a very interesting watch with many twist and turns to make you wonder and take a second look.

Scene 1: Lexie Marie , Tommy Gunn

In this first opening scene we have the beautiful Lexie marie in a full size tub lathering herself up. Billed on the cover as " The Follow Up To The AVN Best Film Of The Year" one has to sit down and enjoy this movie for what it truly is.. one hell of a wild ride with all the twist and turns you would find in an amusement park. The emotions brought to live on the screen by the ladies are in truth what any woman would feel being betrayed as Austin Kincaid did when she saw her husband getting a blow job from another woman. Women can be very fickle when it comes to sex. The trust level with the characters which were portrayed showed us that men to a certain extent have no qualms to being unfaithful though the women are more secretive about it. Paul did just that in play on the insecurities of these four couples bringing to the screen the raw passion he wanted to film. On a scale of 1-10 , there is no doubt in my mind that this is again another winner for Vivid come January. Definitely a movie to have in your collection.
