The Movie:

This Penthouse/Jill Kelly co-production directed by Kelly Holland features six scenes, each one set in a different time period. It works, and it works well as the seven sexy sirens in the cast are all quite stunning in this production, each of them looking their best.

The sex is hard but devoid of any serious kink save for the last scene which features two girls sharing a toy. This makes Timeless a decent couples film as it is a fairly safe but still quite sexy porno movie that serves up some erotic scenarios without coming across as too trashy. The sex is hot and plentiful and the narration provides some interesting context and bridges the sex scenes together rather effectively.

The DVD

Video:

The 1.85.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer on this DVD is rock solid. Color reproduction is strong, black levels are consistent and deep but not too murky, and there's a nice level of fine detail present throughout. The only real flaw is that there are some compression artifacts here and there that you probably will pick up on as well as some ringing here and there. Other than that, there's really nothing to complain about, Timeless looks surprisingly clean!

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track is quite good with no problems concerning the levels, hiss or distortion. The background music gets a bit loud in spots but it doesn't quite overpower the performers and for the most part this track is free of any major defects and it sounds just fine.

Extras:

First up is a making of documentary that runs for just under twenty-minutes in length and which features some genuinely interesting on set footage that shows off just how much effort went into the set design and the lighting for a couple of these scenes. The cast and crew are all on hand for some basic, informal interviews and this is one of those rare behind the scenes documentaries to appear on an adult DVD that is actually worth watching.

Up next is a bonus scene featuring the lovely Riley Shy. Riley dances around her fifties pick up in a bra and frilly undies. She slowly strips to some generic rockabilly music and shows off her ass and her tits for the camera until she's completely naked. This is more of a strip tease scene than an actual hardcore scene, but it's a welcome addition to the disc nonetheless. When it's all said and done this puppy clocks in at seven-minutes in length.

Rounding out the extra features are trailers for six other Hustler DVD releases, a sizeable photo gallery made up of hardcore and glamour shots showcasing each of the female starlets, and a weblink. Static menus, and scene selection are also included.

Final Thoughts:

Slick production values, nice camera work, a very hot cast and some genuinely decent sex make Timeless worth a look for couples in particular. Hustler has done a fine job on the release and this disc easily earns itself a slap from the ol' recommended stamp.
