The main bonus is the Director's Commentary. Francois Clousot is joined by his cameraman, Raoul Duke, in talking about the movie. The result is a mix of info with MST3K-style comedy. They seem to be having a good time, but disappointingly, they go silent during the sex.

Also on this DVD are text bios, short (2-3 minutes) interviews on-set with the girls, an interview-heavy behind-the-scenes feature, a blooper reel and direct access to the cumshots. It's a pretty decent package of extras. The usual promotional stuff rounds out the disc.

Audio/Video:

The letterboxed widescreen video in Payback tends to be mostly dark, which is hard to pull off right. Even the director admits it didn't work right, as it came out very soft and grainy. Some of the sexy ends up obscured by shadows or blurs, but it's not terrible. The audio is clear in the plot scenes and during sex. There's some music during the sex scenes, but it's mixed in well.

Body of Review:

Daniel (St. Croix) is, simply put, a bastard, both at home and in the office (as well as in his mistresses' bed). The women in his life decide to take revenge, and send him to meet his maker. But, as fate would have it, he returns, in the body of Brittany Skye, and sets to get some justice. And along the way, she has some sex as well.

The DVD of Payback features position break-downs in the scene selections, so you can go right to your favorite act. But first, we have to see which will be your favorite:

Scene 1: Aurora Snow, Steven St. Croix

The scene is shot in shadows and soft light, making it hard to see what's going on all the time, but it has a slow, sensuous pace, making it a good choice to open the movie.

The only thing holding this disc back is the lack of variety in the sex, as well as the actual amount of fucking going on. It seems like there's more plot than pussy at times, which isn't the way these movies work. Give it a rent though. You won't be disappointed.
